Schedules Direct US/Canadian/Mexico EPG Plugin (Updated August 2010) (1 Viewer)

Is this still the best option to use with Schedules Direct and TVE3? - I had it working until the latest SVN build which uses the new installer - Will this plugin need to be updated if its to be used with future SVN+'s ? - Right now TVE3 doesn't detect it..

If there is a better option to use with SD or another easy to use option for US TVGuide please let me know!

I'm also experiencing the failure post new TV Server installer. It no longer appears in the plugin list on SetupTV.

I've now done *full* uninstalls, database removal, then reinstall of the latest SVNs and latest SchedulesDirectPluginTVE3, and still get this issue. From the plugin section of my tv.log:

Dell Latitude D630 (Core 2 Duo 2.20gHz) running XP Pro SP2
2 Pinnacle 330e HD Pro USB Sticks fed by amplified rooftop antenna
All prereqs confirmed installed.

Same Error.

Thats the same error messages I received in my logs. I did some searching throughout the forum and it looks like there were some minor code changes in the latest TV Server svn that made the plugin no longer work with the latest svn's.

I had to uninstall and go back to the SVN on 3-20-08 in order to get it to work again. So I'm just going to wait for a fix unless there is an "as easy" method to link to Schedules Direct.

The forums messages I read had to do with other plugin's not working as well - I think i found them at the time by doing a search for "InvalidCastException".

- TV Server and MP Client running on Intel CoreDuo - w/ 2 gig ram w/ Hauppauge 1600 - using both ATSC and Analog.

There is an updated download for TVE3 in the first post of this thread for new SVNs
SchedulesDirectPluginTVE3-v1.1a.zip
(Dll only until sure it's working ok)

Hmm... I'm still getting this issue. I've put in the new DLL, installed the latest SVNs, and got this result:

I just tested - and it did not work

- I Uninstalled TV Server (pre-new install method)
- I rebooted
- I installed Latest SVN of mediaportal
- I loaded mediaportal config and checked some settings (didn't change anything) then ok / exit
- I removed the old TV Server install directory C:\Program Files\Team-Mediaportal\Mediaportal TV Server (with plugins, etc so it would be a fresh install)
- I installed latest SVN of TV Server (with new install method)
- I started service and entered configuration setuptv -
- I checked settings - then stopped the service - closed setuptv config util.
- I copied over the new 1.1a DLL for schedules direct
- I launched TV Server config which asked me to start service - i selected yes - then checked available plugins -
- NO Schedules direct plugin listed
- Rebooted - Tried again - Same thing..
