Received same error with latest SVN of both TVE and MP installed - I have a theory tho.. I notice you are using MS-SQL Server - I'm using MySQL - I'm going to install MS-SQL on this test machine of mine and see if that changes things! I'll let you know what i find out! With this last install using MySQL I completly uninstalled TVE and even removed / deleted that MySQL database thinking maby something was sticking around that didn't need to be. But - No luck there - so onto installing MS-SQL - Anyone having this issue using MSSQL?

Not sure if this helps - but i was able to get the Schedules Direct plugin to show up in the setuptv config display once i moved PluginBase.dll out of the TVServer Plugin's directory. I'm sure this is causing other issues / errors - but perhaps this will help debug - Some sort of conflict between the two. - Not sure this is a good idea or not but was considering installing the last SVN that worked with both and copying the pluginbase.dll and use that to replace the current SVN's - Just messing around now

-- EDIT SVN 3-20-08 does not have pluginbase.dll located in the Plugins directory

- I noticed the latest SVN's have pluginbase.dll as well as a few other plugin dlls located in both the main program directory C:\Program Files\Mediaportal TV Server\ and in the Plugins folder - Is there a special reason why they are in both places? - I'm going to do some testing with running the latest SVN with that pluginbase.dll out of the plugins folder.

Removed pluginbase.dll from the plugins folder - and now this is my log file after a reboot - tv client and server are working and MP is working with both - and schedules direct plugin updated my tv guide listings to most current.

No prob! - I posted a message on the current SVN's thread - maybe this will fix some other issues people are having problems with - i dunno - perhaps that PluginBase.dll file was accidentally placed into the plugins folder when configuring the new installer - guess we shall see! Thanks!

Maybe someone could help me out. I have the plug-in up and functioning but I can only get a handful of channels to populate. Most of which have the wrong info. My log should be attached.

I do not see anything about the plugin in the log.

Can you go into the plugin config and select force update on next startup, close setup tv, and then restart the tvservice?
Give the plugin a little while to update and then post the log.
It should show the plugin starting up and attempting to update, match channels, etc.
