Patrick,
First off, thank you for this wonderful plugin. Without it we would be jumping through a lot of hoops to get EPG data in MP.

Will there be a new build for the upcoming 1.0.1 release? As mizzourob pointed out, the new SVN's seem to be having an issue with the 1.1a version.

Thanks again!
Wile E.

Vindi,
You can edit all your channels directly on the Schedules Direct web site. Just edit your listing and remove any channels you dont want. Be sure to save your settings (the button at the bottom of the page.)

I only have the ones I want selected in their web site. For some reason my locals show up 4 seperate times. There is no other way to edit the TV guide? what is causeing these to show up 4 times?

Do you have the channels listed four times in the tv config? I know you can scan with each tuner. I have dual tuners and I did a scan with each one and so the channels are listed twice in the guide, because I can tune each one seperately.

In the config it only show 1 of each channel. I combined them in the combine page. Thats part of the reason I'm confused. Shouldn't the guide be the same as what you see in the channels tab in tv config?

It seems like versions after 1.0.0.0 are breaking the EPG, see attached image of the error I keep getting. This only happens when I update the 1.0 release with a newer SVN

:D

Has anyone else found a fix for this issue, besides downgrading? I paid for a SD subscription that I can't use now. :) Is this a plugin error or an MP error? Thanks.

    Wile,

Can you go in to more detail on how you did that? I used mc2xml to download my SD data, and output it to a file called tvguide.xml in the mediaportal/xmltv folder. I then set the XMLTV plugin to look to that folder. If I run a manual import it tells me the correct number of channels have been imported, but no program data (and no errors).

If I look at the tvguide.xml file all the data is in there and formatted right, it just isn't being imported. Also when I go to Mappings and try to do a load/refresh it tells me no channels found. Is there some trick to this I am missing?

I just started using this method just yesterday. I ran into the issue of getting any data... figured out it was the xmltv.dtd packaged in the xmltv zip I downloaded and put in the xmltv folder.. I needed to recopy the original xmltv.dtd file that was in the MP xmltv folder, fortunately I have a client set-up on another machine that still had one. Then I was able to see the downloaded data.

    hope that helps.

Is the source for this plugin available? I have VS 2k8, I can probably take a look at it now that I think about it.

Version 1.1 in the first post of the thread, has the source in the archive.

Thanks, wouldn't have thought to look there. Too bad it doesn't include his later fixes (unless I am mistaken).

I work with some fairly sharp .Net coders; I'm going to go over this with them in case it is something simple. Of course, if the original author comes back that would be ideal but he may have other things to worry about at the moment.
