Sure thing. I can do that. PM me your email address so I can add you to the list.

Are you working with the latest SVN of MediaPortal? If you are able to create a package and upload it, that would be great. Just indicate that the new load is for SVN loads of MediaPortal and not 1.1.x. If you don't want to create the package, I can do it. It might be a little bit, though, as I'm away this weekend.

    Cheers.

I'm having an odd problem with the series-episode naming on recordings. I have the r21 build of the Schedules Direct plugin on MP 1.1.2. I get recordings with names like this...

    Saturday Night Live - SEP00003710 - ES34E00 - -.ts

I have the tvdb functionality enabled in the SD plugin and the recording naming is set to the default (with the -S -E parameters).

I look in the MySQL tables and I see that the Programs table has those values in the episodeNum and seriesNum columns. For instance, there is an entry in there for Criminal Minds. The seriesNum has the value EP00753791 and the episode number has the value 310. So the recording naming seems to be correct but the incorrect values are in the table.

    Has anyone else seen this?

    Thank you

    Hi gserg,

I think you're just using the wrong tags in your file naming. Here's the naming that I use:
    %title%\%title% - %episode% - %name%

The wiki has this and other details. SupportForTheTvDbCom - mp-schedulesdirect - Project Hosting on Google Code

    Hope this helps.

On page 1, I do not know if I want "TVE3" or "MP stand alone"

I do not know how to do SVN
    **
I deleted channels and rescaned channels, but do not know how to auto-tune
"-Run the auto-tune on your cards in MP"
    **
Channels renamed as per SchedulesDirect name.
    Channels mapped to card
    Did this OK
    **
Read 66 pages- no results for me
    **
I think anyone starting out would benefit from a Quick Start Guide

I agree been struggling as well to get this thing configured to display even the channels correctly.
I dont see any logos, I cannot even tell if they are HD channels or not.
Numbering seems to be off as well.. How do I know if the guide download is complete? How do I restart a download aside from checking re download after next TVSvc start.

In-fact the entire MediaPortal is just difficult to setup.
I come from the easy setup of Windows Media Center looking for something robust.
Gone thought the little documentations and still cannot seem to get things working right.

i too am having issues with this plugin steps i've take are

    1. Setup my channel profile on Schedules direct's website.
    2. Used the TV Server Config utility to scan in my analog channels only
    3. Copy the Schedules Direct plugin to the plugins directory in the MP TV Server directory.
    4. Ran the TV Server Config utility again, & enabled the SD plugin in the plugins section.
    5. Checked Force guide update

I have my system up and running and the guide is populating using sql workbench did the trick for that, but the channel numbers are off in the data base. When looking at my schedules direct selected channels they start at channel 2 so as it stands right now entering in channel 2 on the remote gives channel 3, enter channel number 3 get channel number 4. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Sorry for not replying earlier... not sure how I missed your post.

If you're still trying to get this going, I'll try to help.

The log you posted doesn't show any schedulesdirect log messages. You need to restart the TVServer for the "force guide update" to take effect.

Try that and then post your entire tv.log file as an attachment and we'll see what's happening.

    Again, sorry for the silence.
