Nope, don't thik so. For my part, I haven't tested on the 1.2.0 anymore, since the 1.1.2 works fine for now.
Not sure if the dev's have anything new on this.

    Hi everyone

I'm not at home right now so I can't check the code, but it looks to me like the instruction to descramble is either not being sent to the WinTV CI, or the WinTV CI is not receiving the instruction. I say that because in the 1.1.x logs there is:

    2010-11-10 00:53:17.335937 [(6)]: subch:0 SendPMT version:14 len:52 117

2010-11-10 00:53:17.351562 [(6)]: Conditional Access: sendPMT to WinTVCI succeeded

    2010-11-10 00:53:17.351562 [(6)]: WinTVCI: CAM initialized

I cannot see that anywhere in the 1.2.0a logs...
Can you please post some new logs showing the graph building in 1.1.2 (or 1.1.3 - whichever 1.1.x version you are using that still works).

    Best regards,
    mm

Have attached the full Log directory from the working 113. Hope this helps.

    FYI
1.2.0B still have the same problem as 1.2.0A. Not possible to whatch scrabeled channels with WinTV CI
If needed, I could set up a test server with 1.2.0B.

    Hi Nogge69

Thanks for the logs - I didn't expect you to reply so quickly! :D

Unfortunately they don't contain the information that I need. What I need to see is logs for TV Server starting up and initialising your tuner(s). Could you quickly restart the TV Service and post new logs?

    mm1352000,

Have been waiting by my PC for a long time, for a solution to this issue;)
Better act Quickly so you don't go away:)

Updated logs attached. (Had to do a full restart of the pc, and then did a couple of server service restarts, just in case)

    Hi again Nogge69

Thanks for the logs - perfect! :D

I'm not going anywhere; at least not right now. :)
I'm 99% certain that I've found the problem and I have a fix. To be honest I find it *very* hard to believe that this has not been discovered before now. I have a Hauppauge Nova S Plus, but I can't test the fix because I don't have a WinTV CI. They're not available in New Zealand. I've tried to buy one for testing several times from Ebay Germany but I keep getting outbid!;)

Anyhow, would you be able to install 1.2.0b on a spare PC, or could you update your HTPC? This fix would have to be tested before it could be committed for 1.2.0rc...

    Thanks for the feedback:D

Don't want to touch the running server too much, but I should be able to set up one of my spare laptops tonight as a test server. (When I get back from work)

As mentioned earlier, I have the exact same problem on my 4400 and my Nova stick. (The Nova stick will be used on the test server)

    Okay.

It is about 1am here so I'm about to go to bed. I'll check on the thread tomorrow, but in the meantime you're going to need a patch to test. The file that you need is attached.

    Instructions (after you've installed 1.2.0b):
    1. Stop the TV Service.
    2. Take a backup of the TVLibrary.dll in your TV Server install folder.
    3. Download and extract the attached TVLibrary.dll into your TV Server install folder.
    4. Start the TV Service.

After that, please test to see whether *both* scrambled and unscrambled channels work. I'll be here to answer questions if you have problems. If the patch doesn't work then please post logs again...

    Best regards,
    mm

    Yesss!!! it works.

Just tested it briefly on my 1.2.0B test server and both freeview and scrambeled channels work.
Haven't had time to test much, since we lost power in the whole area just as I was about to start testing:(
It came back after a while so I've manage to test a little bit.

    Logs attached.

Pls. let me know if you need anything else.

I might be willing to donate one of my WinTV CI's for this. (Just use one on my server anyway)
Let me know if your interested, and I'll see what i can figure out regarding shipping.

Well, its over 1am over here now, so its time to go to bed for me too:)
