[TV] SD and HD channels are tuned only after 2nd attempt if transponder is changed (1 Viewer)

i also have done a new installation of my htpc with windows 7 x64 and mp 1.1 beta 1 and i also have the issues as described above...

i can tune every channel if i go to tv screen, select channel.. plays fine if i press stop so that the graph is stopped and afterwards select another channel it will also work, but if i do not press stop in between it does not work most of the time....

i have attached log file for the following test case:

1. go to tv select channel "tele 5" -- plays fine
2. press stop
3. select channel "arte hd" -- plays fine
4. press stop
5. select channel "tele 5" -- plays fine
6. select channel "arte hd" -- "timeshift could not start"

MPUserFromGER: do you really have this problem only with HD channels?

...i think it happens always if i want to change to a channel on a different transponder... really strange did not have this problem on mp 1.0.2

I've got the same problem.
It started with updating to the latest version last week.
I tried every codec I know and all drivers available for the Skystar HD 2.

Doesn't matter whether HD or SD I can't change channels directly (in most cases).
I also think it has something to do with the transponders (like krikkit stated) because sometimes it works (but takes a long time) to switch to another channel.
Later when I'm at home I will recheck if it depends on the transponder or is just erratic.

Ok know I rechecked it. It's definitly related to changing the transponder.
Channels on the same transponder change immediatly.

Ideas anybody?

I also got the same problem. Just installed Win7 (before Vista) an it's still the same (Mediaportal 1.10 Beta, but 1.02 and previous got the same problem).
I think it's because of some problems with MediaPortal and the Technisat Skystar HD2
Hope some Dev can fix this

Sorry for the late response but I am currently on holiday and therefore alo writing from an Internet cafe...
The problem also happens for SD channels but for me very rarely that means maybe one out of 30 channel changes.
For HD channels it happens every time! (Note: I am still on SVN 23652)

Would be great to get some new feedback from the devs because the HD part I can reproduce 100% and it work very well with MP 1.0.1.
