Is there a way that allows me to record a full season of a show inside MP?
The scheduler that comes with PVR-350 is poor at best.
I would like to be able to set up recording for every episode of a particular show.

thanks

afaik media portal is able to schedule recordings at repeating times (ie every monday on 21:00 on channel xy).
mp also displays you all episodes of the show wich you select in your epg. (wich you have to check to record them)...

you cannot programm mp to record a show depending on its name broadcasted on various daytimes and/or on various channels...

also mp supports pvr scheduler via plugin. but i dont know its features...

the inbuild functions fits my needs...

I didn't try it out, but I think it works with MP. Just select the show you want to record and go to advanced recordings. There you can choose "everytime on this channel" or "everytime on all channels".

So, you're power cycling the TV, but not putting the PC to sleep ? In General => Startup/Resume settings, try checking "Ignore Windows resolution/size changes" In Codecs and Render, try selecting the specific audio device rather than "Default DirectSound device" Just ideas, no guarantee this will do anything. If this doesn't work, I...

hm, weird. it can't access the file because its in use by another process... Wonder what that other one is. Can you try excluding the recording folder of all background processes? (f.e. defender/antivirus etc, and maybe (don't know if that is even a thing) from creating thumbnails) Edit: and is it always the second time it succeeds...
