Campaign to bring back Big Kev

It's really disappointing to see a great add-on left to "wither on the vine".

Big Kev, if you're out there...what can we give you to pick up MPWeb again? Beer/wine/girls?

VLC 1.01 works for me, but only with Internet Explorer, not Firefox.
PS: is it possible to change the VLC transcode options manually?
EDIT:
works with both browsers (latest MP 1.1 svn)
And you can edit "MPWebsrv.ini" to change VLC transcoding options..
e.g. if I set h264 codec via MP webinterface, I have no picture, cause Webif set Value to H264
but if I change it in "MPWebsrv.ini" into h264, everything works ok.

Hi

I am having some troubles with the webinterface manager connecting to MS SQL Server 2008 @ Win7

I get the following error:

Error Connecting to TV Server Database
Failed with the following message
[AnyDAC][Phys][ODBC][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBMSLPCN]SQL Server does not exist or access denied

Maybe it just ain't suited for sql server 2008?

Hello,

I've installed this promising plugin, but I can't login...

I always get "User ID or password are incorrect"

Doesn't matter if I give the user a login/password or if I leave the fields blank in the webmanager/users...

Won't even work if I add an Auto-login ip...

What am I doing wrong..?!?

Play Recorded SOLVED

I've installed the Web interface and configured the streaming application. It works fine in the guide page but I can't find the "str off" button on the "recorded page! Under HTML>Recorded the following is added as in the manual:

Any suggestion what is wrong?

Hi! After searching the forum up and down I finally found a lead to solve the problem (See Page 58):
On "Media Portal Interface Manager" -> Appearance
Mark: "Use multi-select for managing recordings"

Restart web server and voila the "Recorded" links work and it is possible to play your recordings.

So is there fix to above?
I had same problem.
I Have 1.1.0 beta + MySQL. MPWebinterface 0_6_0_14.

Also I have problems when going to "Playlist", and selecting "List by" Album or Artist, it throws error "No MediaPortal client detected"
BUT, when selecting "Share", I see all my music in that folder, althroung adding folder or file to playlist doen't seems to work correctly...
I have configured regured ports on web config, and installed mp plugin. I Can see "media" - my computer in Contronning: -field.

Current Playlist seems work ok, I See it, and i can play, stop music and skip tracks.. but anyway sometimes, when playlist is long, i get error "Could not connect..Max line length exceeded" and cannot see playlist, but play controls wok.

Same problems on others? fixes?

Hi,

I solved this problem by actualy giving the series-field a default value of "1" if I remember correctly in the database design. Only issue I have at this moment is that I get no notifications if there is an recording conflict.
