No, sorry, a lot of stuff got in the way. Not sure whether I'll find time to dig into it this month.

This bug is really frustrating - the only way I can have my server running properly is to disable MPExtended, which means I can't use aMPdroid to schedule recordings away from home. :(

I have noticed this on some occasions. Happened this morning when connecting to my single seat htpc via WebMP. Checked the status page and 100% cpu utilization.

Restarted the service (via teamviewer) and fetched the logs.

I think the problem only occurs when returning from sleep. I might try to schedule a task to restart the service when resuming from sleep.

Did not attach mp log, since no log entries have been produced in ages (due to my log level setting).

    Joining the party...
I noticed the same issue the other day however didn't capture anything ... system reboot solved the problem.
    Running MP 1.3 on Win 7 64.
If it helps, I also run MPDisplay++ and no other plugins.

I'll try to capture some useful info.

Seen this only twice in a year.
Had to use taskmgr on my win 7 x64 machine and kill the mpextended service.
I have a client / server setup so this one happens on the client only.

Instantly drop in CPU usage and fan slows down finally.
