HA! i havnt seen this thread somehow till now.
It all looks great from the screenshots..id love to test it when i get home.. perhaps over the weekend
Seriously one of the small gripes i have with MP was leaving Mp to go into the config.exe .. this is so great!
Such a move in the right direction!
Is it were possible to get into the filter properties page of LAV video etc from inside these settings pages ??
(note: i think it might be a problem if MP is "Always on top" tho)
that way we wouldnt need to leave MP (especially when setting it up)

    Hi,
Doesn't seem to work, or maybe I miss something :|
Start MP -> Settings -> GUI -> Pin -> Enter pin "1234" Done & Esc out & Restart MP = Yes & wait until started & Settings -> GUI -> Pin & it shows me the pin, but I never have to enter them to get inside there.

    Regards
    Roy

    Yeah,
figured it out now. You actually had to enable the pin protection with own button, maybe auto enable on enter password...

    Great idea, great work!!

Looking forward to incorporate a plugins section where each plugin may "implement" it's own GUI for it's own settings within MP.
Give us an interface and all you have to do is "call" each plugin that implements that interface. Or even use .Net MEF to avoid complex dependencies!

All plugins already have their settings page in the MPEI GUI, if the plugin dev decides to do so,
You can check it with e.g. OnlineVideos and other plugins ;)

sorry for this, but what do you mean "MPEI GUI"? That's out of MP right? Or do you mean the "Extensions plugin" where a serial list of properties is allowed?
I was talking about sth more complex. Just to give us the full control of how to present our plugin settings.
Simply allowing key-value without any further control is already available, I agree, but more complexity, validations, dynamic lists etc may be needed even for "simple" user-tasks.;)

I did mean the Extensions plugin (which is in fact the GUI for MPEI). ;)
