Yep, It's UAC. Specifically, it's "Run all administrators in admin approval mode". That has to be disabled, which means UAC is effectively disabled. Thanks for your help SpudR.

@Nephilim: I need UAC doing its Linux-style admin elevation by prompting for password. I have nephews that frequent my place and little hands + enquiring minds = malware disguised as minecraft texture packs. In other words, I'm not in a position to reduce the security of the HTPC by turning the UAC prompt off. I'll take the hit of not being able to watch trailers (I can always use OnlineVideos to get to a trailer) rather than lowering the security of the machine. This isn't a gripe by the way, just a heads up about the problem, and an example of someone (me), who has nfi how to go about fixing and wants to inform the developer. I love your plugin, it's just fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Yesterday i will watched a trailer but i hear only sound from the trailer and a blank black screen. I come from germany, have anyone else this problem ? I use the Alpha and latest showtimes...

Here are the Logs...

After playing, Mepo hangs on Blank Screen, only the Sound from clicking i hear, but nothing happens...

More Infos:: I think the Bug is since i updated to MP 1.3.0 Alpha.

With Onlinevideos, the Trailer from filmstarts.de works great without problems.

I hope you can fix the bug again, then that was a very nice plugin for me...

No other have this problem ? Nephilim maybe you can fix this, it's one off my fav plugin and now i can't use it :-(

Some cinemas in Germany no longer work.
Münster and Dortmund are not working.
But the Cinema Lünen works.

I have the same Problem.
With MP 1.2.3 and Showtimes 3.3 Sound and Video OK.
On another HTPC with same Installation an MP 1.3 apha Sound OK but now Video.
