Right now there is no specific skin editor. There used to be one a long long time ago, but it is completely outdated as far as I know.
The skins are XML files, so you can edit them in any text-editor. Even notepad, though this might not be so easy. Best is probably to use a program that does syntax-highlighting of XML. Personally I use Ultra-Edit but you could use anything from a basic text editor to a full-blow program like Dreamweaver.

Moin, ich noch mal.
Was ich aber noch nich raffe, ich hab mir dreamweaver jetzt mal installiert. Wie bekomme ich denn jetzt das skin angezeigt? Außer den text seh ich nix
Möchte z.B. das xface skin bearbeiten. Wenn ich jetzt z.B. die basichome.xml öffne, sehe ich nur den code. Der bringt mir aber beim designen nich wirklich weiter ...

zum designen gehört auch die anordnung der grafiken und in den xml befindet sich nicht nur "text"Moin, ich noch mal.

Vielleicht suchst du die Grafiken? Die sind im Media-Ordner. DIe kannste editieren oder neue erstellen...

Naja vielleicht lieg ich auch daneben, wie gesagt bin Anfänger in Sachen skinning, aber ich dachte in dreamweaver oder einem anderen Editor würde mir das skin wie im skineditor von mediaportal dargestellt. Hätte auch nichts dagegen diesen zu benutzen, aber der zeigt mir den basichome screen nur zur hälte an.
Wie gehe ich denn am besten vor, wenn ich z.B. beim xface skin grafisch etwas ändern möchte. (Ich würde gerne das shoutcast plugin in der Leiste unter "Meine Musik" im Basichome Screen haben, also zwischen lastfm und playlist)
