So this SLPlayer.xap we should be able to modify it to support some of those media command right?

It's possible I got that all wrong as I am not familiar with SL and that plugin architecture

Moreover we could possibly embed the silverlight viewer rather than using SLLauncher.

That could enable better MP integration.

It would be fantastic if you could create a GitHub project to host all the source code for that great plugin.
Maybe even as a separate repository on https://github.com/MediaPortal @Developers ?

As mentioned above there are two things I would like us to improve:
Remote control support.
Better integration with MP.

My feeling is that the first one should be quite easy to implement and the second one might be more involving if at all doable.

The plugin is his projct so he should have full control over it

Would be nice though to have as much plugin hosted as part of the MediaPortal project. Thus we know were they are and it makes it very easy for people to refer to them.
Surely there are ways in GitHub to manage access right per user and repository.

Thanks looking good. I wish it was C# rather than VB but thanks for sharing all the .user and .suo files and the content of the bin and obj folder should not be under source control really.
