Hello DJBLU, thanks again for your wonderful work.
I tried the last version, downloaded from here

I'm grabbing EPG from Sky IT on 13E and I noticed that there are still problems with the channel grouping function.
After something like 30 channels the grabber stops grouping.

this question may have been asked before, but this thread is 100 pages, so I'll just ask..

This app you have here, will it only work on media portal, or can it be made stand-alone in windows?

The reason I ask is, there is no viable application for downloading epg from an OpenTV source that can be used in W7MC, and I was hoping a current one could be adapted.

It will only work with MediaPortal, it's like an extension to MP's native EPG grabbing capabilities. Certain dll files have to be replaced to make it work. This does mean we rely on DJBlu to release updated files each time an MP update is released. As far as I know, the source code is not available so it is not possible to compile these files ourselves. Longer term, I hope DJBlu's code can be embedded in MP, however, it's probably only a relatively small audience that would benefit form this. I guess it would be difficult to make it work as a standalone app with MP (or any other mediacenter app for that matter), as 'controlled' access would be required to the DVB-s card(s) for EPG grabbing.
