from a quick search, exception code 0xc0000374 looks like some kind of memory/process heap problem.

Have you updated any of your pc's drivers recently (graphics card)? If you have, you could try reverting them back.

Only other suggestions I can think of at the moment are trying fairly trivial things such as disabling any anti-virus/spyware scanners, disabling your firewall, trying system restore to a date before you first installed rc2. you could see if the service will start with windows in safe mode, but i doubt that it would on a working system anyway.

also jay, run this in a command prompt:

sfc /scannow

it will verify that all your windows libraries are intact and not corrupted

I did a scan, found no issues.

I think I'll end up doing a rebuild

At least I know it works for other people, so I'm not going down a route that may not work.

Just need to find an oppurtunity when my other half is away.

I personally dont have any EPG data! (must be incorrect EPG channel settings)

Can some please reconfirm the channel (and tuning details) I need for Freesat EPG data????

Use TV or Radio any channel on 11428H for the freesat EPG. Doesn't matter which one, just pick one.
