Bad news for us 1.1.2 users but in the meantime how can I get my epg working?

If I have time tomorrow i'll try and compile a 1.1.2 version using the old patch. This won't help users of Sky Italy though.

I wasn't sure if you were going to release binaries for the latest 1.2.0 SVN (as there have been some good fixes - well I think so anyway )

Do you happen to know if your patch merges with the latest? (I will try tomorrow)

The 1.2.0 alpha patch won't merge into the latest SVN, but i'll post one that will tomorrow

Would be much appreciated as I'd rather not move to 1.2 until it's proven itself but in the meantime I'd love to get this working.

Hi guys,

sorry to be a pain but i've now got my setup the way I want it on 1.1.2 all apart from the epg. All I need to know is what files to use that are compatible with 1.1.2 and where to put them and them I'm happy to wait for the final release of 1.2.0 before I change anything again.

I've updated the first post with:

Previous EPG version installers for MP 1.1.2 stable (Sky Italy is not fixed in this). Simply install over any vanilla/sky version 1.1.0/1.1.1/1.1.2

A new version patch file that will merge into the latest SVN


Note: I haven't got time to test the 1.1.2 installers so I'm afraid they come 'as is'

I just tried merging the patch and I had one conflict with schedule.cs (TVLibrary).

I many edited the file - I'll let you know how I get on! *gulp*

Any chance of releasing an installer for the latest SVN, would save me and possibly others having to compile themselves.

Hi there,

Without me checking the patch/code, can you confirm whether the TVServer config should have the third DVB menu option (Provider EPG)?

Because my version doesn't (assuming I've applied the patch and compiled ok)???

The MePo client config screen has the modified TV screen/options.

Cant get EPG grabbing to work though (this is with me manually enabling the Background EPG channel and doing a manual refresh):

I seem to remember Miroslav22 saying that any manual settings for EPG channel for grabbing will be ignored. Only the new tick box for Sky EPG provider has any effect.
