Can any confirm if Channel4 HD has moved in the last few days?

If you do a manual scan of 12606000 or 12607000 modQPSK2/modQPSK (can't remember which, one of the two will scan) Vertical you should find it.

Either that you can manually add the channel to TV server using the details off kingofsat.net http://en.kingofsat.net/tp.php?tp=2680

KingOfSat have just updated today (typical really) previously it showed old settings for CH4 HD which didnt work.

There is a missing file in the patch I posted so sorry about that. The filters shouldn't be affected though as far as I can tell.

Hi miroslav.. i've lost last developments in the release of your great plugin... what is the state of the art? Does it exist a way to fix Sky Italy problem using versions 1.1.2 or 1.1.3? or i must wait for 1.2.0?

I am currently using 1.1.2 and am extremely happy with this, but am keen to move onto the newer version with auto channel / group creation. My current intention is to wait for 1.2 beta to launch, and to upgrade then, assuming that the patch is released to work on this version. Is this considered the best plan at the moment, or is it worth going to 1.2 alpha - are there any particular bugs on this version that cause issues meaning waiting is better advised, or should I jump?

Another member kindly kindly suggested that I try this Sky EPG Enhancement as I have a DVB-T and DVB-S2 card and some of the Freesat channels have missing info.

I wanted just to check if I have done everything correctly. I originally had Mediaportal 1.1.3 set up (Server and Client on same computer).

I downloaded MP Sky EPG v1.0 (For 1.1.2 Stable) and ran both automatic programs, and this appears to have downgraded me to Mediaportal 1.1.2. This suddenly meant that I got the message "Your platform is not supported by Media Portal Team because it lacks critical hotfixes" - Windows 7 (Services Pack 1) [6.1.7601.65536), so I then went back to the Mediaportal download page and downloaded the 1.1.3 installer, which upgraded me back to 1.1.3.

I then opened the TV Server configurator and uninstalled the WebEPG plugin.

I then went to the TV EPG Grabber and unticked the Store Date only for selected channels button and unticked all the channels in the list (I left the language section on English).
I then went to the Radio EPG Grabber section and unticked everything and ticked EPG Background Audio and Freesat Info (again I left the language as English.

I just wanted some advice as to whether I have done everything correct and my EPG should start updating over the next 24 hours or so - I am a bit worried that by downgrading Mediaportal to 1.1.2 and then upgrading again to 1.1.3, I might have somehow got rid of the SKY EPG Enhancement.

Just in case it is relevant, in my DVB EPG tab, I have the always try to fill box ticked, as well as "always try to update..." and Enable CRC Check. Grabbing while timeshift is unchecked and EPG whilst idle is ticked - Time out 10 mins and Refresh every 240 mins.

The PowerScheduler is set to Awake for EPG grabbing at 3 am every day.

Would really appreciate your views as there is so much info on the forums and is difficult to know where to start.

Hi Gianni,

Sorry there is no patch available to fix Sky Italy on 1.1.2/1.1.3. There is a 1.2.0 Alpha installer on the first post with this fix but to be honest i'd wait for 1.2.0 Beta now as it's a lot better.

As above, i'd wait for 1.2.0 beta. I will post installers as soon as it is released. Hopefully DJBlu will be available to help include the channel scanner when it is released.

Unfortunately if you re-install 1.1.3 after installing the Sky version, you will lose the enhancement. The patch needs merging into 1.1.3 really but I just haven't got time at the moment i'm afraid. Does 1.1.2 not work at all on W7 SP1? Can you skip past the warning?


Once 1.2.0 final is released i'm going to try and get the code in the SVN to be officially included and supported in 1.3.0.

Hi Mirsolav22 - thanks for getting back to me.

I feel a bit foolish as I only updated to 1.1.3 because I didn't like the warning popping up if I wanted to edit the TV server configuration. In terms of functionality everything seemed (so far) to work with 1.1.2 despite the warning, so I shall drop back to using 1.1.2. (out of interest what this the difference between 1.1.2 and 1.1.3? I have only been using Mediaportal for about a month now, so I have never used the earlier version).

Just one other quick thing - are my rest of mysettings in my earlier post correct for using Sky EPG v1.0?

As far as I am aware the only difference in 1.1.3 compared to 1.1.2 is that the version of windows has been added so you dont get the warning and no difference in the function of mediaportal but hopeully some1 who knows more would be abe to confirm this.

As for your options you have selected that all seems correct, I dont have "always try to update" ticked but dont think this makes much differnce either way.
Once you have reinstalled the sky installers and set the options as before, if you go to the manual control section in tv server configuration there you can manually refresh dvb epg. You should then see it grabbing the epg which can take upto 10 mins.

After that if all has gone well you should have a full 7 day guide.

I am not sure if others get this problem but mine will not grab epg while timeshifting so you can't play any tv until it finishes grabbing the epg or it will cancel grabbing epg untill you stop live tv again.
