I am still using the first version dj blu released for 1.2b. All was ok but now I have a lot of blanks across my epg and it doesn't seem to be refreshing.

nice work DJBlu. I'm getting he same error as the sky plugin. less than 100 channels found i'm wondering if its my cards or something 1.2.0.2. still runs fine.

Did you replace the Custom Data Grabber? with the one I uploaded?

Hi DJBlu been doings test again this morning on my rig and a friend let me run some tests on theres.

On mine i completely removed MP and did a clean install. results 1.2.0.2 works fine 1.2.0.4 sky and freesat both giving less than 100 channels error. so that rules out mp could be my hardware because:-

on my friends rig still not working %100 but a stranger result. It sort of grabs!!! finds 30 or so channels but if i view them in the channel list all the names and settings are garbbage eg ITV1 looks like gsdia plus the settings for the channel are blank (sadly his wife was rushing me and i forgot the logs before i reset him back to a working version).

logically this bug came in after 1.2.0.2. So i think i recall you saying last week you were going to implement a crc check i'm just wondering if this is a factor if you did indeed implement a crc check. Anyway to turn it off just as a test?

tv.log from working and not working are the same up to the point were:-

What database are you using? MSSQL or MySql?

MySQL 5.1

Quick update.. Just tryed 2 different dvb-s brands cards in my rig. No change.

uninstall MySQL 5.1 and installed MSSQL. No Change.

Check that the tick box for grabbing Sky UK is still ticked. It has a tendency to untick itself somehow.

I also still use the old version for now - if I remove the ability for the wife to series link her programmes, she will be chasing me down the street with sharp implements....

Yep all still ticked. I even did a manual grab which completes in under a minute saying it grabbed the details ok but still doesn't work. May have to go to miro's version with series link for now until some bugs sorted.

Oops - I misunderstood you! I'm still using the 1.2.0A version at the moment..

Ignore my throwing in of red herrings!

I'm not sure whether to use the Miroslav version and do an upgrade to keep series link, or wait for a version of the channel scanner with series link included.

Anyone using the latest Miroslav who would car to comment?

I have the house to myself on Sunday, so was considering a rebuild to 1.2.0 beta.

bob808 if you want the first channel scanner to grab the epg untick the update channel box then grab. its a bug i think DJBlu has fix it in later versions of his plugin. Sadly i cant use the later versions at the mo. You could try 1.2.0.4 if you like.

Still no EPG - tried 1.2.0.4 and it doesnt run fully, finds channels and groups they just says error ocurred- (with no error detail)...

similar to what i get. 1.2.0.2 is the best one i find up to now. has a few bugs in it but once you know them its easy to work around.
