It looks like your TV Server is stopping timeshifting after 15 seconds due to the channel being a Radio channel.

Try this,

Delete the "Sky UK Grabber" Channel from the list

Scan the following transponder

11778 V 27500

Go into Radio Channels and rename the following channel

EPG Background audio to Sky UK Grabber

Then run the scan

Can you let me know how you get on.

Thanks.

Just tryed that out streams for 3 or 4 secs then stops. Plugin Reports Error Has Occurred.

Can you upload all your log files from the tvserver log m8,

Thanks.

Can you try these files and post your logs.

Thanks.

Hi all,

I have managed to write a plugin for scanning Freesat's Channel line up.

Just place this in the plugin directory of the TV server along with the Custom Data Grabber.

This will scan the 230 odd channels that are in the Guide. When the channels are loaded go into the Radio EPG settings and select the Freesat Grabber.

You'll have the 7 day epg then.

Did you replace the Custom Data Grabber? with the one I uploaded?

DJBlu,

Great work. Is there anyway we can combine the 2?? The reason I ask is that I have 99.9% Freesat channels but I currently also have a few that are on the Sky platform (mostly music). Is it just as simple as selecting both grabbers?

Thanks again for all your hard work. you really are a credit to MediaPortal. :D

I'm having trouble getting the Radio EPG to fill with MP. The TV
grabber works fine. The appropriate boxes have been ticked in
the TV Server Radio EPG configuration and also the stations have
been mapped on to the Hauppauge DVB-S/S2 card as required. However it appears the
the information is not being grabbed. Any advice would be
welcomed. I'm still using MP v1.1.2. Many thanks.

As far as I know Sky do not broadcast EPG data for radio channels. The only data available is now and next which comes through the DVB EPG. I think however Freesat do transmit a EPG data for any stations on their platform however you will have to have the Freesat EPG grabber enabled by ticking "Freesat Info" radio channel.
Thanks wonkyd. I'm afraid checking Freesat info did not help and I shall have to work more at the problem. MP seems to neglect radio compared to TV.
