Hello Damien,

I don't mind doing that But how do I use Media Portal Debug-Mode? I have been looking for that short-cut.

So what did I do step nu step.
1 Upgrade MP from 1.1.3 to 1.2.0
2 Upgrade StreamedMP to latest version
3 Add some new Plugins and upgrade all installed plugins
4 Start up MP with all new.
5 It all worked fine
6 Start up MP Config to check what is new
7 Start up STreamMP Editor to check what is new
8 Start up MP with all new.
9 Start up STreamMP Editor and edited menu, add some new menu options with Fan Art
10 Start up MP with all new.
11 Start up STreamMP Editor CRASH
12 Start up STreamMP Editor CRASH
13 Uninstalled StreamMP
14 NEW Installed StreamMP
15 Start up STreamMP Editor CRASH

Hope this helps.

There is no error notification nothing just a hard crash.

Ronald.

I do have that file located in:

    Directory of C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP

    and

    Directory of C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP

I just read your post again, to verify if you have the usermenuprofile.xml and you mention the two paths above. These are basically the same path in explorer.

Are you 100% certain you dont have one in the root directory?
    Code:
    C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\
We really need that one to go any further, from your steps above you should have it as you have generated a home screen.

    Hi Ronald,

Can you check something please, fire uo the mp configuration and click on the userfiles folder at the topleft (hightlighted in attached image).

The usermenuprofile.xml should be here and can you also confirm the path that this opens.

    thanks

I just wanted to say, that I had this same error, but it vanished as suddenly as it appeared. I just didn't even mind it so much, because I haven't used the editor. It came up few times, when I was using MP configuration and chose Plugins. But like I said, this morning it didn't say anything anymore. Nothing else has changed, except I copied new .dll to my plugins Damien gave to me. I don't know, if it has anything to do with this, but just wanted to say, that nl62544 isn't the only one, who has seen this problem.

Your user menu seems fine, what version are you running Domoril? If you are using MediaPortal 1.2 ensure you are using StreamedMP v1.7.

Please also confirm version of StreamedMP editor from: C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\SMPEditor.exe.
You can get the version by right clicking on file, properties, details.

    Thanks for tha quick answer.
I use Mediaportal 1.2 final with StreamedMP Vers. 1.7.1
    The SMPEditor Version is 1.7.1.2953

I also tried to un/reinstall and to repair, with no success.

Could you please provide a picture of the error you see Domoril? Or copy the text you can see.

If i start the SMPEditor.exe the "Starting SMPEditor.jpg" windows comes up,
if i start the MP Configuration and go to plugins the "Startin MPConfiguration.jpg" comes up.

I wonder if this is happening due to some references of other plugins we use e.g. TVSeries, MovingPictures, OnlineVideos. Do you have these plugins installed by anychance and are out of date?

Edit: If you could enable debug logging and start mediaportal then attach all your logs that would be good. I can see what you have from that.
