Yes I just checked again and it is not there. I did a screen dump but as a new user to the forum and dont know how to upload the file.

Trevor,

I did press User Config files like you asked and it opens C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal. But no user usermenuprofile.xml there as well.

Just to be sure that I am not mistaken i did a dir usermenuprofile.xml /s. The outcome: I have NO usermenuprofile.xml anywhere. Only 1 usermenuprofile.bak.xml located in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP.

I am sorry I cant be of more help.

I have exactly the same error message as Domoril. Immediately crash of Windows and the same message when I enter MP Config.

All very odd - first have you maya or Avalon installed as well?

and second I attach the default usermenuprofile.xml that comes with the skin, can you put this in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal and try again

Thx

Hi Trevor,

Thanks for your reply. I copied the file but no change. It is indeed strange specially since it worked after first installation. I think it started crashing after I edited the menu.

I have no aya or Avalon installed.

Greetz Ronald.

Hi Ronald,

Getting short on ideas here, can only think that maybe the SMPEditor.exe.config.xml has somehow become damaged.

Attached is new set of editor program files to replace your current versions, SMPEditor.exe and SMPEditor.exe.config.xml go in the same folder as MediaPortal.exe and the StreamedMPEditor.dll into the plugins\process folder.

Try this out and let me know.

Thanks

    Hi,

I've the same error of nl62544 and Domoril too.

I don't know if can help and if can be the cause but this error came out the first time when i've changed the filter menu in movingpicture.

I'm running MP 1.2 final release with StreamedMP Vers. 1.7.1

    SMPEditor version: 1.7.1.2953

I've attched also the xml and two screenshots

This is same error as Domoril, what versions of plugins do have installed? Start MediaPortal in debug mode and attach your logs so we can see this information.

Hi maurilloh, your system doesnt seem to be right. First off, it seems your MediaPortal (tvserver in particular) did not upgrade correctly from the beta
    Code:
2011-09-23 23:42:30.429687 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: TvPlugin and TvServer don't have the same version.
    TvServer Version: 1.1.8.0
    TvPlugin Version: 1.2.0.0
The first thing I would do is Uninstall all your skins and all your plugins, then Uninstall MediaPortal. Delete anything you see left over. And then install MediaPortal again followed by StreamedMP.

I think its too hard to diagnose issues where you might have had Upgrade issues from MediaPortal itself, im not saying that is the reason for the problem but im concerned about that error in your log.

    Thanks ltfearme,

    I'll follow your advice.

Maybe I found a reson of my error.

I have uninstalled everithing and reinstall mp and streamedmp skin and all ok.

when I have copied the older database folder the error reappered, then i have cancelled all the database and i have tried to copy one database at time only and i found that the movingpictures.db3 was my cause of error.

I hope this can help someone else.

    good night.

Hi I did copy the files but no change. Still the same immediate crash. I guess I will need to reinstall everything. I will probably do a new Windows install as well.

I think you did all you could right?

    Thanks.

    Hi nl62544,

Maybe it can't resolve the problem but have you tried to cancel the movingpictures.db3?
As i wrote before even when i have reinstalled everithing if i copy this database the error reappear otherwise everithing works.

    Bye.

I can't think of anything else other that removing all plugins and trying installing one at a time, the suggestion maurilloh is a good bet.

    thanks
