Where do I make that change??? still no picture and sound when recording..

so far I haven't been able to record to any codec..so far I have tried the following...
huffyuv 2.20
mjpeg
divx 5.1.1
xvid
VP 61
VP 60
Cinepack
It seems nothing works...and there is no configuration for any of the codecs I choose. And I also get no picture when trying to record. Is all this not fully ready yet?
