liborc, can you look in the start.bat you got from CVS and see if there is line in there that looks something like:

    regsvr32 /s TTPremiumSource.ax

Let me know if this isn't in there. I know I added it at some point, but it may have not taken for whatever reason.

Also, you will have to have the latest TechnoTrend Premium drivers installed. I believe it version 2.19c.

Alright, I unistalled the drivers I had and did a full install of the 2.19c package. I also ran the start.bat file. (yes, the regsvr32 line for TTPremiumSource.ax is in there.)
After that, I tried and Configuration.exe found my TT Premium card.
The line in the dropdown box reads: "TechnoTrend SAA7146 Capture (WDM) (Techno Trend Premium)"
When I select it though in the dropdown box, Configuration.exe says it can't create a graph for this device.
I have tried to run regsvr32 manually on TTPremiumSource.ax and got an error saying something like this (I am translating this from the original French Windows XP error message I got, so it may not be precisely the right wording):
LoadLibrary("C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\TTPremiumSource.ax") failed - This application was unable to start because its configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling this application could solve the problem.

So what could I be missing now? ;-)

    Thanks,
    Libor

Exactly the same here, 'can't create graph for this device'

(I just already had driver 2.19c installed, so I had that behaviour from the beginning; btw. the start.bat file contained some weird characters: regsvr32.exe /s "%~dp0TTPremiumSource.ax". After running start.bar, I removed "%~dp0" and ran start.bat again)

PS: BIIIG thx to draktheas for your work!

Edit: JMS was too fast: i do have mfc71.dll and mfc71u.dll but no mfc80

I don't know if drak is online right now so for a tip: load the AX with notepad.exe (yes - don't fear binaries) and search for the string .DLL. Make sure that all these are available in the PATH. For a quick shot simply copy all missing ones to the same directory where the AX is located.

I have all the DLLs mentioned in the .ax file in my path and still Configuration.exe keeps throwing the same error. Anybody got this to work?

So are you able to register the AX? Best you take the Dependency Walker and open the AX. The tool will tell you if some DLL is missing.

Ok, so first thing first. Is the TTPremiumSource.ax registering (when you run start.bat) with no errors? If it doesn't register correctly, we will need to solve that problem first. As this is the starting point for everything TTPremium. :)

If TTPremiumSource.ax is registering correctly, but you are getting a 'cannot create graph' error then please post the contents of your MediaPortal.log file.

If you are getting a 'cannot create graph' error and TTPremiumSource.ax is not registering correctly, then that is what I would expect as TTPremiumSource is a requirement.
