Just a note. I have seen a couple of posts in this thread about Techno Trend Budget support. This is actually a separate effort being headed up by Mosquiss. I am not responsible for implementing this support, so please don't thank me.
This thread is specifically for Techno Trend Premium support, which is a whole different beast all together. Techno Trend Premium cards do not have BDA drivers and likely never will. Techno Trend Budget cards DO have BDA drivers and AFAIK were supported by Media Portal through the BDA support already in Media Portal. It looks like the new development with the Techno Trend Budget (again, not to be mistaken with Techno Trend Premium) was support for the CI module.
Sorry I have been gone for a few days. My dad is really sick so I may be gone for a few weeks to take care of some family business. I am sorry to those of you who have been patiently waiting for Techno Trend Premium support for a while now. I want to re-assure you that I am going to keep working on support for Techno Trend Premium as long as it takes to get it going, but I really need to take care of my family right now.
Drak, sorry to hear about your Dad.... My dad just had his second heart attack in the past year. He is actually doing ok now... but family stuff is no laughing matter. Family always comes first. I am praying for your dad and hope that he gets well fast. May God bless.
I understand what you're saying with regards to the tt premium card, but my card works with the tt premium drivers as well as the tt budget drivers.
It has never ever worked with bda drivers at all, so I think it's worth trying it with you're implementation.
I will still take the opertunity to thank you anyhow as you are doing a great job even if it means that it wont work with my card at the end of the day.
Just wanted to update everyone. I haven't been doing any work on MP lately due to the issue with my father. Well, the good news is that he is doing better. Thanks to all who wished me well.
The bad news is.... well, there really isn't any bad news. I am going to get back to work on fixing the SDT parsing issue in MPSA so that I can test the support I have already added against North American satellites.
If there are any brave souls out there who want to test the Auto-tune for TTPremium in a non-North American satellite then please pull from CVS and build or grab a recent (newer than 10 days) CVS build. Please post your findings here. NOTE: I highly doubt that the code will display video yet, but it should detect your TTPremium card and auto-scan any non-North American satellites.
Drak, I'm glad your Dad's better now. I almost lost my Mom a few years ago and therefore I understand that working on TT Premium support for MP is one of your last concerns now. Thanks thus for keeping us posted!
I live outside North America (Czech Republic, Europe precisely) and am EAGER to test the latest build tonight and will definitely report all that happens on my computer! Thanks for your hard work and good luck finding solutions to your NA tuning problems,
Libor
Well, the result is disappointïng... I did a clean install of RC2, installed today's CVS and ran start.bat...
However, the setup does not detect my card... Am I missing something? Anybody else got this to work at least for the detection?
