Ok, I had some time to work on it this week and I have run into another problem. Currently the MPSA (MediaPortal Stream Analyzer) filter expects PMT, PAT, and SDT data for a particular program to be on the same transponder. Unfortunately this isn't fully DVB compliant, as the DVB specification allows for SDT data to be on a seperate transponder or in a seperate data stream from the PAT and PMT packets for the same program.

Well, wouldn't you know it, but I seem to be one the few North American satellite users out there and it appears that all the North American satellites utilize this flexibility in the specification. Thus the MPSA does not scan the channels properly. As in it doesn't detect ANY channels at all.

What this means for TTPremium support is that I can not verify that it is working properly until I fix the problem in the MPSA first. I am still seeking information about whether there may be some code for me to start with. As apparently someone started fixing this problem before, but had no way of testing it. If there is some code for me to start with, then it might not take that long to get through. If there is no code for me to start with, it will take some time to get through.

Sorry for the disappointing news to all of you who were looking forward to TTPremium support sooner rather than later, but I assure you I am still working on it and it will get done.

Thanks for the update, and good luck finding the code that could help you. I guess you could find some code in the Multidec sources, but am not sure what exactly you need...

Yes Drak, thanks for the update. You might try going into IRC early in the day and catch one of the main devs. They should be able to help you with your latest problem. Good luck!

Yeh, I have talked with Agree and Frodo about the problem already. Agree says he had fixed this problem a while back but had no way to test it as he wasn't in North America. So he is going to try and locate the code to fix the problem. In the meantime, I am going to try and fix the problem myself.

BTW, if you haven't noticed yet I am officially a Dev on the project.

Congrats to the official position as a coder for the MP project. I'd like to say I'm thrilled to see that you are working in support for the TT Premium card, if I'm not mistaken I'll be able to use this aswell for my Hauppauge (since Hauppauges cards are basically the TT cards but sold under Hauppauges name).
Just did a fresh windows install on my htpc which was previously running linux+mythtv and I must say the MP project looks really promising and as soon as the support for the premium cards are here, I guess I won't ever go back to using Linux for my htpc.

Wish u the best of luck with the rest of the coding. Hope u won't bump into any (more) nasty supprizes on the way.

    Best regards,
    Tobias

Congratulations! I'm following this thread since a couple of weeks and I'm really glad to know that the development was successfully realized.

I have an Haupauge Nexus-s card and I want to know if there is a way to participate to the test integration step? And if this card support will be integrated in the MP 0.2 final release previewed in a couple of days (march 18th, i think)?

    Thank you,
    Jmr :D

Wow this is amazing news, I have also been following this thread for the last few weeks, I have a tt budget card and I am hoping that this will be supported as well.

Well done for all the hard work that you have done.
