I am running 1920*1080 and have not seen that - i am running a SVN version though - so maybe its already fixed!

Are you running the latest RC4 SVN version: 12-07-2008 10-44h - Revision:21026? I just updated to that one and I still have this issue. See screenshot attached, this time on a screen resolution of 1280x800. Anything but 1280x720 gives me this issue. Even 1920x1080 gives me this!

I have the latest SVN and don't see this issue either. Running 1080 resolution.

This is very strange. I have no idea what could be causing this since I don't have the issue on my other HTPC running RC3 at 1080i. I thought maybe it was an RC4 issue.

Anybody have any ideas whatsoever? How/why would this be happening?

Have you tried clearing your cache?

Have you modified your basichome xml file at all?

This is outstanding. I like it alot.

I do have a question though. I never use basic home because I don't know how to get plugins like my emulator on there so I use the other home. Is there a way to get the weather and RSS scroll on this screen.

Also which part of the code adjust the menu items one way or the other. I don't want to move it all the way to the Left only over a touch to work better with the backgrounds I use.

I do have a question though. I never use basic home because I don't know how to get plugins like my emulator on there so I use the other home. Is there a way to get the weather and RSS scroll on this screen.

Also which part of the code adjust the menu items one way or the other. I don't want to move it all the way to the Left only over a touch to work better with the backgrounds I use.

EDIT: Problem solved! I reduced the <height> of font mediastream28tc in fonts.xml from 30 to 28 and that fixed the issue. Just thought I'd post that info for anyone else having the same issue.


Haven't tried clearing the cache but when I go back to 1280x720 resolution it looks fine. As for modified basichome xml: I get the same problem with or without the modified basichome.xml.

I'm thinking it has something to do with the scaling on this Intel 945GM (Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop).

Edit: Cleared my cache, tried again and still no luck! What's weird is that the selected menu item isn't even using the "Fluid Title Caps" font. When I change that font to anything else in fonts.xml (like Courier for example), the selected item still ends up looking like in my screenshot.

Again, this is on Vista SP1, RC4 (and tried latest SVN), Intel 945GM graphics controller, Aero (enabled or disabled, makes no difference). I've got DirectX 10 installed, and according to this Wikipedia page the Intel 945GM doesn't support "hardware geometry processing": Intel GMA - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Could that have something to do with this?

I managed to borrow one from elsewhere and edit it a bit to work for me.

I have an issue with this skin where it won't show episode or show summary. It works fine with other skins and i have done like the tv-series setup thingy told me.

And thanks for the greatest skin out there, it's working just fine in all other parts.

Are there any plans for another release before christmas? Perhaps around the release of MP 1.0? Don't get me wrong it works great for me atm, but I'm building a new revision of my HTPC image so I was wondering if it would be smart to wait for next version of StreamedMP.
