In an old version of the tvseries plugin, you could quickly change views by pressing left/right on the facade. We removed this functionality from the plugin so skins could have control of what happens when the user does these actions. In StreamedMP we show a hidden menu with options.

To answer your question, there is no quicker way, other than invoking the view menu.

oh, that's what i thought. is there anyway that the plugin can allow for changing between views via a button (by typing some number in <ondown>). So in filmstrip view, up would take you to the menu and down would change views.

really minor thing. if its a hassle dont bother.

Not entirely sure what you mean, its possible to add a new button control to the plugin which toggles views instead of invokes a menu...this may make it faster to switch views depending on how many you have configured. Then skinners or modders can use it.

It's coming along just fine. I noticed there was a new release of the plugin today and I just want to make sure the skin still works fine with this release.

Hey for any one who is interested... A revised version os Radiotime for StreamedMP...

This one has kept to the standard formular of StreamedMP using the proper facades and sliding menus.

question to the redstream author, is there an update to your homescreen backdrops? I am using your tv one without the philips logo, the blu ray case, dvd case, and cd case. I think that they all look amazing as standard backdrops. I am looking to find something with this look/theme for settings, pictures, games and whatever else might be available.

If not, does anyone else know of a cool icon set that might look good for all these features?

Hi guys,

i have a problem with the generic skin files in moving pictures, that i want to use.
Maybe anyone can help me, i have a thread, but in wrong forum


I used the default skinfiles in 16:9, these are for 1366x768.
StreamedMP work in 1280x720

I edit the default movingpictures.xml to work in 1280x720


Here the dafault 1366x768
The Bottom is cut and much items are not in center.

Here my 1280x720
All fine, up to the MovieList on the left
