Post the screen shot of the icons you want to use and i'll share them.
However i think your method of icons was better (ie extending the title bar and having the icons on the top)

I'm going to auckland in 2 days for a bachelor party and wedding so will be disappearing for about 1 week.

EDIT: I seem to of deleted those customs icons, will be easy to re-create them i can do a better job the 2nd time, just post the pic with the icons you want (if still needed), maybe you'll have to wait 1 week for me to redo them unless another user does them for you in the interim.

Illustrator does, well is a vector graphics editor and you could also look at Inkscape which is free - personal prefeance is Fireworks.

Ok, produced a screen based on your layout but this is a fully loaded version, i.e has all the normal controls that are part pf the PlayingNow screen, make it a little busy and god know how I will fit the VU meters in....

We require a version that does all the std stuff and this is the best layout for it, will more than likely use my version for full screen fanart.

I should give you a base to clean up the graphics, the mask could do with some work. I have not included the CD cover as MP has no masking ability as such so fitting the image in with rounded covers wont work as your mock up.

This version uses cur8er's fanart handler so you will need that instaleld to test it, this is a far better option that using the artist images downloaded by default.

Attached is a zip with the xmls and images used, if you can look at the mask and tweak any other graphics you think need it. No rush as will not be able to get back to this till next w/e at the earlist.

EDIT: I updated the archive with a new version MyMusicPlayingNow.xml, had not changed the size and location if all star rattings supplied by last.m

EDIT2: Updated the archive again - now done the VUMeter versions and tweaked the no meter version slightly

Just updated the archive with the VUMeter versions, the only thing that needs looking at is the artist_overlay, tidy it up as you suggested should sort it I think, only really notice on images with a white background.

Have a look when you have time, will be testing the code next week and the final polish can wait a while - enjoy the stag night and wedding...

good stuff, just remember we need to keep all the elements on this version as it will std for the skin, custom versions can be created and just named different.

could consider dropping "Other images tagged with:...", but keeping best album tracks, because personally i find that bit useless as it's really random, however could just be the way my media is tagged.
