Hi friends!

I've been reading the forums for a long time, but this is my first contribution.

I have made a new design for My films plugin, taking some code from other xml sources, such as Moving pictures, My films posted by Zebons, TVseries...

Some labels are written in Spanish because that is my language, but I hope they are easily translated.

I hope it will be useful for every user, spetially for my fellow countryman Z3us.

Edit: I have found 2 bugs, both in the detailed screen:
1- if the movie hasnt fanart, then a black background will be showed
2- the logos are huge, and if a film has more than 2, they go out of the screen

Here you have the xml files, bugs fixed.

As emphatic says, I prefer using StreamedMP logos because I like the visual effect.

I recommend erasing logos cache directory, so My films regenerate them.

Can you please make an english version for your files? thank u

i have a pretty nice pack of 1080p music (and sexy female artists) themed wallpapers that i have rotating in the background. i can rar them and upload them to rapidshare if anybody wants.

Here you are. I'll start up a thread in the main forum so maybe we can get a big swap going. I'd like to get some new backdrops as well.

Can someone explain how to use MegaUpload to download the file? I've never managed to work it out.

I click on the link. It tells me to enter a 3-letter code, as pictured. I enter it and click on "Download".
It then shows the column of benefits for Premium service vs. Free, and has a countdown timer. I also note that there's a download link in orange font, that if I click on it, it returns to the previous screen that forces me to enter the 3-letter code.
Once the timer has reached zero, the timer disappears, but nothing else on the screen changes.

I have no idea at this point what to click. If I click on that orange download link, as I said before it just returns to the previous screen. Everything else on the screen appears to be attempts to get me to sign up for something.

I don't want to sign up and I don't see why I should - all the other download sites don't force me to be a member.
I don't want to buy a premium service.
I'm using Firefox.

What the heck do you click to download the file?

do you use NoScript with Firefox? You have to disable it temporary, then the download should work after the counter reached zero

I've read through most of the posts in this thread and am still a bit confused of what to do. I like all the sample images that are shown on here but have no clue where to start to make it look like what all you guys have. What I want to do is to have fanart shown in the back of the movie selection similar to the "dark knight" post. Where do I start? What folders do I need to create? Which xml files do I need to edit? Where do I get the fanart pictures?

I've been using xface skin for the longest time and installed streamed mp skin today and was amazed by it. I read about installing MovingPictures. Do I need that?

I appreciate it if someone can help me out.

Hi Jamest, The StreamedMP installer would of installed Moving Pictures for you. It will take care of all your movie fanart for you. Simple Open the MediaPortal Configuration program and Configure the Moving Pictures plugin with the path to where your movies are.

Then you can see your movies in MediaPortal with all the artwork.

I got it working per your instructions. I'm curious why the fanart does not show up under "My Videos". Instead I need to got to My Plugin first then click "Moving Pictures". Currently, I have two lists of the same movies on my machine. Is there a way to get the fanart to show up on the "My Videos" area? If not, are there any adjustment that can be made to go directly into "Moving Pictures" when I log on to MediaPortal?

moving pictures is better than using my videos. just use the basic home editor and you can change what each menu item does. (go directly to moving pictures)

Please clarify what basic home editor is. Should I be looking for an .xml file to edit? My current thought is to change the setting in some .xml file and direct the "My Video" link to get Moving Pictures. So if I click My Video, Moving Pictures will pop up. Is that a correct assumption?

Also z3us uploaded the myfilms xml files. How does one use that in streamed mp? Is it possible to use it?
