igormaiden. the backdrops should be placed in thumbs/fan art/ they should have a name with the series id (e.g. 73255_house.png)
i don't know if all skins have the posibility to download fanart within mediaportal, but in streamedmp and mediastream you can right click the mouse and choose fanart, and it gives you some to choose from.

When I choose an Artist it shows their albums....if they have more than one album, to the right is shown the date that it was added to the database....I'd much prefer the year of the album was displayed here. Where can I change this label?

You can change it in MediaPortals configuration. Look at attachment for illustration.

As far as I know, fanart doesn't autod/l either, right? One other bug I noticed (and again, it may be with TVSeries, so I apoligize if that's the case, I haven't tested other skins): if you download fanart via the context menu, it doesn't show up until you restart MP. Sometimes exiting the menu after d/ling fanart, you'll get fanart from another series.

the fan art doesn't download by its self. thats a tvseries thing. not skin related. however the other thing with the reestart of mp to get the fanart shown i dunno. i don't have that problem, shows up right away.

My small mod

I listen a lot to music while watching picture slideshow. Everytime the next track starts to play, a popup notify you about the new song. Problem for me is that the popup covers the most important part of the picture. This mod will just show the popup bottom right.

I've obtained/created some new hover images but they seem to only occupy the top two thirds of the screen with a portion of the original hover image (the one used for settings and plugins) occupying the remaining third.

I have made all the replacement images 1280x720 as the originals were, and I've deleted the StreamedMP cache folder in "...\All Users\App Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\cache" (which was needed to make them appear at all...).

I've had this problem with the last couple of releases, and currently using 0.4.298.

Any idea's?

Attached are two fixes. One for mytvguide.xml, now with scrolling program title (see pic) and for mytvprogram, overlay was overlapping EPG-info

I am still having problem in the Programme info menu. TV overlay stays on top of the screen and blocks the view. I tried your fix and also changing overlay to "no" in the original mytvprogram.xml but it did not help.

What else can I try to fix it?

StreamedMP - RedStream 0.65 - Updated 09.01.2009

Inspired by the work of crusoli and based on the work by Olivier Troy ...
I've made my own High res (1920x1080) Background wallpapers for the use with StreamedMP...

I'm calling tis complete "replacement-package" "RedStream" and it's for the use with a Philips FullHD LCD
(or any other Full HD screen if you want)...
I'm staying close to the design ideas of crusoli because they really kick ass

This looks great, but when I try to open this file, windows tells me that it's either in an unknown format or damaged. Anyone else getting this problem?

Woops, I overlooked this topic yesterday..
I've created a new basichome for StreamedMP (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/streamedmp-301/basichome-aeon-mod-streamedmp-53985/)
Mind you, the screenshots are 1024x768 but this was created for 1280x720 (like all of StreamedMP)

Installation Instructions
=========================
* Copy Basichome.xml & common.overlay.basichome.xml to \skin\StreamedMP
* Copy mymenu_bg.png & mymenu_submenu.png to \skin\StreamedMP\Media

As I am unable to provide (let alone create) a Basichome generator,
you'll either have to change stuff manually or wait for someone to make a generator.
If you just want to translate the items, I suggest you do a search & replace in
Notepad, e.g.:
Weer --> Weather
Muziek --> Music
