Nothing applies since there no configuration program was installed. Just the MP2 and Service Monitor. It took awhile to even find the installed directory since installation didn't say where and I had to scroll thru to find TeamMP.

Okay, you've installed MP2 instead of MP1. They're quite different. For example, MP1 has the separate configuration programs; MP2 doesn't (configuration/settings are accessed from a section inside the main program). Most people use MP1. MP2 is a work in progress.
Like MP1, MP2 has more than 6 panes. With MP1 you move Left and Right to find the other functions. MP2 you move Up and Down.
There is a Configuration Pane is you move Down the screen...

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help!

When I first start watching a TV program the timeshift functions works perfectly. I can shift back and forth in time and it works...
Actually I solved this myself. I did have the correct driver (it was the only one which would work). But on the drivers download page, there was an additional item called "TBS6281se V2 Change Mode Tool". There was zero documentation to accompany this. I downloaded it and ran it. It is a tool to detect the current run state of both...

My previous TBS PCI-E card failed, so I bought another one. The model I chose is the TBS 6181-SE, which can be seen on Amazon here...

The electronic program guides (tvguide.xml) have been successfully transferred to MediaPortal.

If it's an apartment block, it's quite likely that the LNB is something exotic that handles Sky and others. Try a different LNB frequency (and possibly the low and high frequency settings. I know little of such things, but apparently Sky is often 10750. Give it a try. Freeview is horizontally polarised.
