Hi psharon1,wellcome to MediaPortal Forums...there's no feature in MP that let you modify subtitles delay and for now u could only do it by using the MPC subs engine that you can find here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/371988-post1.html .This engine is not supported by team MP yet and binaries are not available for MP 1.0.0.

I bought Fight Club from an op shop (Goodwill to you yanks) but my PC reads the DVD as a folder. Both media players wouldn't run it, so I tried running it in MP2. It appears that MP somehow caches previously used subtitle files for subsequent use next time the same video is played. My problem...
Gracenote has a round robin for its DNS and they have changed it several times.
Copy the below and make it a batch file (zap2it_check.bat) and then run it every so often (or when your automated update fails) you can check the dns to see if the round robin has changed. If so you can just reedit your hosts file.
