Hi,

Sure. Basically what I need is an API to search and download subtitles. For example, something that SubtitleSource has ("XML/RSS API"):

Heroes

Search results should include the download URL too.

Web Service, XML-RPC based or another API is ok too but probably more work to implement.

Could it be that SubtitleDownloader messes up the character set of the downloaded srt files? I download my subtitles from Bierdopje, and these downloaded files have messed up special characters... for example I have How I met your Mother S05E14. When I download the file on bierdopje.com itself it normally shows ï, ä, é, ü and such, but the downloaded file in my video folder (placed there by MyTVseries+subtitledownloader) it has stuff like %$^ where these special characters are in the correctly working sub.

Podnapisi download is currently broken because changes in Podnapisi site. This is fixed in future 1.9 version.

There's problems retrieving subtitle for this series: V (2009): Pilot
example: "V (2009) - S01E01 - Pilot.avi". MPTV series has imported this correctly.
But when doing a lookup at subscene this one gets hard! You cannot lookup "v (2009)" only "V" and it's called
V - First Season

Maybe when doing series lookup append first season so that "V first season" and then tick Exact search (left to right).

Do you think it's possible to find/make workaround for this?

Hey seco, what about "podnapisi"? Will it work in ver 1.9? It's ql site for me - slovenian site and slovenian subtitles

Released 1.9

- Added support for s4u.se (swedish only), many thanks to owwe providing a good API!
- Fixed Podnapisi download which broke since 22.2. due changes on the site.
- Fixed Bierdopje download which messed up file encoding (special characters appear incorrectly)

I still have problem with Podnapisi site. Under TV Series i can not found any subtitle. Is there any option for extended loging?
