    Hello and welcome rootdet :)

    Any suggestions?
Yep. CableCARD tuners won't work with NativeTV yet. Stick to MediaPortal 1 and you should be okay.

This would be a good place to start for a walkthrough on setup:

Thank you very much, I was driving myself crazy trying to figure it out. I will have to keep an eye out on Mp2 and see when it will be supported for use. Will it be Mp2 or slimTV updates i should watch?

Probably both updates will be released at the same time :) But the important update is SlimTv the NativeTv edition.
But the current branch which contains the CableCard stuff isn't very stable right now or at least some features aren't working so well (e.g. SAT>IP just works one time than you have to restart TVE^^).

I'm having troubles getting IPTV working via the new SlimTV service. I've setup an iptv2rtsp proxy so I should be able to access the channels using rtsp (this is confirmed to work using vlc)
Initially I didn't even see any IPTV tuners when running the setup.exe. It required registering the MPIPTVSource.ax manually using regsvr32. However now I see the following error in the ServerError.log when initiating a channel scan:

Almost certainly a bug. If you can be patient for a little while, a new release of Native TV is in the works. Hopefully it won't be too long before it is release publicly. I can tell you that IPTV should definitely work with that build.

I'm not scared of some manual work. I could help out with testing. My setup is probably exotic so it would make a good test case.
    Here you go ;)
    Install:

    • extract it using winrar etc...
    • copy only the MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service into ProgramFiles(x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins
    • copy only the MP2-Client\Plugins\SlimTv.NativeProvider into ProgramFiles(x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins
    • delete/move out the ProgramFiles(x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Plugins\SlimTv.MPExtendedProvider
    copy:
    MPIPTV_FILE.dll
    MPIPTV_HTTP.dll
    MPIPTV_RTP.dll
    MPIPTV_RTSP.dll
    MPIPTV_UDP.dll

    from C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service into ProgramFiles(x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service
    to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\

make sure you have MPIPTVSource.ini (see MPIPTVSource.rar) in C:\Users\All Users\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server
