    @mm1352000

    did some tests with hdhr PidFilter. with the command line I can set PidFilter and see different bandwidths with ATSC sub-channels.
    7.1/KGO = 10-13 mbps, 7.2/LIVWEL = 5-8 mbps

    modified registry settings to enable BDAPIDFilter, win8 reboot, try 7.1/KGO 7.2/LIVWEL, and don't see change in BW, always 18-19 mbps. When I use command line to read hdhr status, don't see PidFilter setting changes like my command line tests.

    attached zipfile has
    hdhr_reg_MePo, hdhr_reg_WinMCE = registry export for hdhr keys with MePo and WinMCE application setting

    hdhr_pidtest, command line hdhr testing info

    MePo_pidtest, MePo tests, used command line to read hdhr PidFilter for MePo channel changes

    Server.log = MePo2 server logs, no errors reported

    chan7.htm, open with any web browser. tsreaderlite dump for PhyChan = 7 (KGO) I used for testing. png is tsreaderlite screen capture.

    Thanks for testing Ron! :)

    I'm not sure what the problem is there.
    Do you have time to jump on IRC? I'm wondering if we could both jump on the hdhomerun channel and work through this with SiliconDust support...

    Nickname = RonD (or anything else you like).
    Channels = #hdhomerun

    Deal with the security stuff then click connect.
    You should be dropped into the SiliconDust support chat room.
    Meet you there?

    Hold the phone. I'm online and talking now.
    Could you please try setting the WOW64 registry value instead of the standard one. That means use
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\wow6432node\Silicondust\HDHomeRun\Tuners\103533ED-0

    ...instead of the one you were fiddling with previously.

    Also, they're recommending to use the "Other: registry" application setting in HDHR Setup.

    there now I think, seem to have error message ##unavailable
    I don't see you there.
    Did you enter "#hdhomerun" in the channels field? The leading # is important. If not, you should be able to type "/join #hdhomerun" in the bottom text field.

    Okay, I see you there now. I've started a private conversation with you in IRC. Do you see it? Up the top - a tab beside the hdhomerun tab. Click on it and it should show you what I've said.
