I found some duplications with the install and wanted everyone to know. It would be a shame to have someone code to the wrong area's or find some part of the code is still looking at the wrong DB.

With the new TV3 the database for it is now located at C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Database
There is also a database with a date stamp 12/23/2013 at C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service\Database


There also appears to be a duplication of CustomDevies (I do not know if this is intentional)
One at C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service\SetupTv\Plugins\CustomDevices


And another at C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Plugins\SlimTv.Service\Plugins\CustomDevices


Because I cannot use EPG with my ATSC, I don't know if this is an issue or not.
In MP1 EPG Genre Map is populated and in MP2 it is not...

SetupTV.exe Start error message is wrong.
To duplicate, stop MP2-Server and TVService process's

Start SetupTV.exe

Click ok, TVService Starts


Yet SetupTV.exe displays error again


Click No


Stop TVService and Start MP2-Server - All runs as expected and TVSerice remains Stopped

Hi,
If you have created a new group in the TV channels section, then it is not possible to delete this group.

Confirmed
Created a Chanel Group - OTA Antenna
Quit Setup TV

Went thru the Delete Group

Confirmed the group to delete

After Delete was still in SetupTv
Quit and restarted app
Was still in SetupTv

possible cause is that I test MP2 with Remote Desktop

I've seen this issue already: for each channel in current channel group a request is sent to server to retrieve now/next program. This is done in multiple threads concurrently, which really "hammers" the MP2-UPnP server. I'm afraid the HttpServer component doesn't handle this too well.

I'll change this to TVE35's feature to get all now/next for group in one single call. Unfortunately this cannot be done by MPExtended, where I still need to request this info per channel.

@Valk this behaviour of UPnP server would be also a good argument to investigate a switch to OWIN...

Yeah I came to that conclusion already just didn't want to say anything. Basically UPnP is going under major review atm and OWIN will be part of it

Hi.
Have tired this Build. Also I'm still waiting for a MPE SlimTV Client I want to give some feedback.
Upgrade from a4 did not work proper. After upgrading the Client did not start. I think this maybe is due an incompatible plugin (I suspect TVWishlist to be the one). The Windows Error Message has disappeared too fast so I can't read what's about. Need to deinstall MP2 client prior to installing this build. Then it works..

Upgrading Server has "killed" all my thumbs (about 17.000 only in Series so far)...

Haven't tried to downgrade to see if they are back again using stock a4...

Setup Logs for Server & 2 clients and "normal" logs from both clients and server are attached.

Tried to add a new series episode to my library. As in logs the thumbnail is created sucessfully.

But thumb still is not displayed. So this seems to be a client/skin issue, not a server issue.
