morpheus_xx, after your fix I could get my plugin working by looking at your code. I have now a new version of TvWishList for MP2 ready. I will wait for TVE35 support till Tve35 MP2-alpha2 is ready. I believe version controll will be needed for the plugins of the new Tve server first. Thanks for your help!

I can't seem to get the plugin to start. It won't show on the home screen or under Settings -> Plug ins either. I have Mpextended .5.4 installed on the same machine as MP2.

@huha, is your plugin working with the new Alpha 3 release (scheduled for tomorrow)? Can you check if your plugin works with the NativeTV and/or MPExtended bundle?

We now have an own plugin section on TMP homepage: https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/mp2-plugins, there you could add a working version once it is available :)

I downloaded, unlocked the zip and installed the client and server plugin's
The server service will not stay running. Seems to be an issue connecting to SQL
Removed the server plugin folders and server logs
Restarted server service, all ran well
Stoped the server, reinstalled the plugin folders, restarted the server
    Would not stay running
    All server logs are included

    Just tried the SlimTV-MPExtended-Alpha3
Failed even after I set the server name to the current MP2 server (bugbunny)

    I can think following issue:
    1. MP-Extended settings are not refreshed after changing them. So you probably need to restart MP2-Client once. We should fix this...
    2. When using MPExtended you don't need to use the MP2-Server name. You need to use the server name where MP1-TvServer is installed. Ofc, if it is the same machine, then it's fine ;)

I think there is a miss comunication. This is a total MP2 server/client install. Was looking to see if it would talk to my Hauppauge 1600 card in the same system.

    Ahhh, now it gets clearer...
    Well, it should, but
    • you don't need the SlimTV MPExtended plugin, but the SlimTV NativeTV plugin. The latter one basically includes the TV server, whereas the first one needs the MP TV Server and MPExtended installed separately; and
    • SlimTV Native does not work (yet) with SQLiteDatabase. Taking into accound your database size for your music collection, you will probably have to use the MySQLDatabase plugin if you want to use SlimTV Native...
    Good luck!

The first test I did was with the Native... (logs posted after the test)
Could not get the server process to stay running
    That was with the SQLite
I curently have the stock DB ffrom a fresh install loaded. I will test the native with that
