    MoPhat,

I have guitar learning DVD's and I want to use the DVD's Cover Art for my Thumbs in MP.
I put the Cover Art in my scanner and crop out the front cover and save it as a .jpg

Can I Import my .jpg's or (direct your Plugin to go to where the .jpg's are kept), and make Thumbs for these DVD's that will show-up in MP?
    :D

Are this a normaly dvd rip?
    like this one

    c:\DVD\my_movie\Video_TS
    c:\DVD\my_movie\VAudio_TS

if yes, you can just put the cover as "folder.jpg" in to c:\DVD\my_movie\folder.jpg

after that you will see you cover :D:D:D

That wasn't my question. It's Thumbnail size and resolution.
I have no problem getting the pictures to show_up in MP, that works fine.

What are the dimensions of the DVD Cover in the software?

I am trying to find out the size of the Thumbnail (Virtual DVD Covers) in the skins in MP.
So I can save the scanned .jpg pictures out at the correct size and resolution.
    4" x 7.5" inches or 300 x 350 pixels at 92 resolution?
What is the best size and resolution that will load fast and look Great on the MP (Virtual DVD Art_Covers)?

Where do the thumbnails get saved?
I can see in the MP log that the thumbnailer is 'processing' each file in my target directory - but it just iterates the directory and doesn't generate anything as far as I can tell. Should the log tell me it has generated a jpg? If not, could you add some debug that says where it is writing to make this obvious? Thanks.

I did see some discussion a bit earlier about the application data/MP/thumbs verses the targetdir/*.jpg
But it went non-english so I didn't follow the thread.

    Thanks.

the thumbs are saved on the original place where the movie file is.

    - is there anything with the access rights on the drive/folder (read-only)?
    - what for movie type are the files?
    - have you installed the latest version (first post)?

    thx

Some time next year I plan on getting a new TV, but for now I am using these below:

    Dell 5100 Inspiron Laptop is 1024 x768 at 60Hz
    Sony TV is 1024 x 768 NTSC M
