Do we have any plugins or maybe one in development for a touchscreen use? I have a pc I use for music and I use a program called albumplayer but I loaded MP and love it, but it does not do well on my touchscreen.

It isn't a matter of a plugin per-se but with the skin. I would think you would need a skin which have buttons (large enough for fingers and not to close to another button) which would allow allow the functions that a keyboard would give for any non-visible functions. I don't think there are any active skins which were made for touch-screen use.

You could check out this thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/photo_slideshow_touchscreen-t14431.html?t=14431 if you search on "touchscreen" it appears there are a few people working on a touchscreen skin. One even for their car computer. Ask around and see if maybe someone has completed such a skin but hasn't posted it back to the website. It would be nice if they have a skin completed to post it here.

edit: Found another interesting thread: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/using_mp_ultra_mobile_pc-t13821.html?t=13821 I like the knob to control volume

I use a seven inch touchscreen and use the standard blue2 wide.

The secret to accurate use is to ensure the touchscreen software is set to 'click on release' which ensures your action is what you intended .

BUT there are one or two problems as you have mentioned but this can be worked around.

How do you work around the lack of a "back" or scroll ability?

Support for touchscreens should be a MP core feature, IMO.

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1
