Thanks Slurm, i like the plugin modification but get constant 50% cpu load if enabled. the umodded one consums only 10-15%.

Interesting, usually it's the other way round.

Try to set a higher value for sleep time in plugin configuration (maybe 200 or 300 ms) to get lower load.

Already tried. 200, 300ms does not help a lot. i need to go up to 2000+ms to get a 10-20% cpu time from mediaportal when idle...
It ok for me when playing some movie, but crappy when play music with the graphical Equalizer off course...

Someone released in this thread a while ago an "updated/modded" touchscreen.dll. That one did work for me with 10-15% cpu when idle.
But I like the BG and Fontsize etc better on your mod.

Yes, the Equaliuer looks terrible with higher values. Have you tried starting the plugin with "Disable form Focus Control" checked? You can also set higher values to "Pixels to scroll" and "Scroll Delay".

That was me too. The only changes to that version are the 4 lines (including new graphics), the selectable sleep value and it's compiled against latest svn. Can you tell me your system specs (incl. MP version)?

It's an Intel Core2 2.66ghz with 4gb memory, gigabyte sli board, windows xp sp3, nvidia GX200 (something) gfx, zalman hd160xt case, and the latest svn build of MP.
Ok, i didn't did it right now but will test it with "disable on focus". will tell you later.

    anyway thanks for your help!

As you see from the posts sometimes it works quite ok, sometimes it's causing some trouble.

Yes it should work on every second monitor (except the touchscreen functionality of course). Just install it as described in the first post.

so, i donwnloded this version, and installed it. It shows up in Plugins and i enabeled it. When starting config i see the atached screen. It also recognizes the screen it should be on (just its called unknown). Now when i start MP nothing happens (besided MPs usual behaviour). What can i do to get it working?

    This looks ok to me.

You can try to check 'extensive logging' and in MP Configuration -> General -> Log verbosity 'Debug' and check your logs afterwards.

is anyone trying to use the secondary monitor on an Nvidea card?
Somehow i believe its that. Testes with another PC, one monitor onboard, one on nvidea. when secondary is set to nvidea it doesnt work. But when i have secondary onboard it works greate. maybe someone can try this out.

about the debug. i will see when home again.

I do. I have several PCs here where I use this plugin with an Nvidia card. How have you set up the second monitor? Is it dualview (that's what I use) or something else?
