Touchscreen LCD display Plugin (3 Viewers)

Hi Sa_ddam,

thanks for the nice plugin again! Tested current version and it runs fine! One observation I made: When starting MP the "Navigation" button ist framed, but you can only see the bar on the top, not the navigation window itself. (please see screenshot below) If you click on "Navigation" the window below appears. If you select some music it automatically jumps to "now playing".

BTW: Do you plan an automatic changing from "now playing" to "navigation" and back? Means standard should be "now playing" while playing something but if there is an action (browsing through album/ menu etc.) could the screen jump automatically to the navigation window? After a time idle(some seconds) it could jump back to "now playing". If clicking to "Navigation" in the current configuration the plugin stays there and I haven't found an option to jump back e.g. via remote control to "now playing". Same in the other direction. If on "now playing" you can't see any menu browsing if not clicking to navigation with mouse or touchscreen.

i doesn't show up

attached my error log

running xp sp3 home
zalman hd 160 xt extended mode for touchscreen set to 1024x768 (using latest drivers for my ATI HD4850)
ver: MediaPortalSetup_1.1.0_RC-1_rev25080

any idea??

The window problem was my fault i forgot set default window



My plan is for the Main window to be default unless music or video is playing, The navigation window is really for interactive use only, But the main screen will appear when browsing menus showing current selected item thumnail, detail etc.
after a touchscreen action or mediaportal action the now playing window reappear after maybe 5-10 sec if media is playing .

So basicly the Touchscreen main menu will follow every thing you do in MP, and the navigation window is for using MP without your TV on.
also my plan is whenever the MP virtual keyboard appears the touchscreen keyboard will too.

Did you run the plugin config , also is the Touchscreensettings.xml with your MediaPortal.xml?

Maybe its a XP thing , Is anybody else using on XP?

Yes. I did. Touchscreensettings.xml is in the same folder as MediaPortal.xml. On XP it is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\TeamMediaPortal\
I started config without any problems, but when running MP i doesn't appear.

Just installed the new version. So far it looks great. Navigation seems logic and well functioning.

One thing I did notice is that the screen change to black when playing a video file. I suppose this is the beginning of the now playing video screen. However should it not do the same for tv? That would be my preference at least.

Will post any additional findings as time goes along. Keep up the great work!!!

I have just installed this version and so far there are no crashes! A great step forward from my last experience
I can see the equaliser when music is playing but when I play video through my tv series the touch screen goes black and all I can see is the menu bar, there is no information.
I cannot select any of the buttons on the top row, they highlight when my mouse is over them but do nothing when clicked or pressed.

Any ideas??

This will happen for TV when finish ,Fullscreen video info will be on next release,

Touchscreen will always be Black when fullscreen video is playing, Minimizing Video will make Black slide out.

One question, I don't see file information (file name, lenght, time elapsed...) when I playing a video file. Do you think to add this feature?
