Touchscreen LCD display Plugin (3 Viewers)

Thanks for this plugin, but please work to expand this. I am thinking video information (bitrate/prograssbar) for videos (MKV/M2TS). Please make the plugin skinable i think thats the highest priority. Also which needs to be fixed is DVXA compatability. When i run a MKV without the plugin 20%, if i run MP as a window with the plugin also 20% when i run MP in fullscreen and plugin, at 90%.

But #1 is skinnability, hope you will work on this.

On skinning i very much would reccomend white on black background as a starter. Readability is #1 for my 7" its hard to read the letters on the blueish background.

Video Info Should be finished for next release.

I'll try replicate your DVXA problem (mine runs fine on bluray)

Skin support will be available but not for a while yet as the base of the plugin is still not finished.Just need to finish video info screen and keyboard plus a big code clean up then ill start on skin etc.

Anybody else having DVXA problems? (More testers please, as i dont want to delay next Version again)

thank you for your reply, you dont understand how happy i am, i bought a relatively expensive case and never there was a good solution how to use the extra 7" screen and your plugin solved this. im very much awaiting your new version

Another issue i found is that when the plugin is running that browsing through moving pictures the load of the bakdrop and cover is delayed by a few seconds. I think because the plugin uses allot of CPU power the loading of the backdrops falls behind.

I have not been able to reproduce the cpu-issue with HD mkv-movies, but I can confirm that I am seeing similar behaviour with Moving Pictures plugin, However I had not considered that this could be due to the touch screen plugin.

I agree that the plugin should be skinable, but I believe that focus should remain on core functionality and stability before skins becomes a major issue.

Added: VideoInfo (not 100% complete yet, And my tv server is down so TV info was done blind so maybe some errors)
Added: Button animation (user request)
BugFix: EQ not smooth
BugFix: Spelling Mistakes

Install:

MPTouch.dll to Process plugins
Touchscreensettings.xml to "X:\ProgramData\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportal\"
Run Config


Next Version:

ToDo: Main Screen
ToDo: keyboard
ToDo: Finish Navigation screen (its a bit buggy)

Yea! The tvserver crashes MP with this version of the plugin.
I'm shure it works in next release so for your work

Excellent plugin.

Just tested it, looks great already,

only issue I have is that my 7" mimo display only accepts 800x480 resolution.

But I guess more flexible resolutions will be available in later versions.

Super, the plugin now starts in the touchhome screen, a little more practical.

I do not see TV-server crash, but videinfo does not work here. Neither when playing video files or when playing live tv. I just get a black background behind the top row of buttons and then the bluish background below with no text or anything (before the screen turned all black when viewing video files.). Bug?

I really like the button animations, to me it makes things much more user friendly.

This was just initial findings. Will report back with additional things I find.

Always run MP in fullscreen mode.

I just came to think that I have not rebooted since I installed. I know it should not make any difference, but I will just try for good orders sake. Sometimes it gives different results...

Just tested after a reboot, no difference re. videoinfo screen.
