I‘ve read yesterday your previous posts in this thread and come to the same conclusion. The key for MP1 has special permissions as it was already used before the new API. MP2 is a completely new app and it has to use the new auth method. I already cloned trakt rater to see how you do it there.

Regarding the AudioChannels property I think just set it to the highest one available will suffice, its most likely the correct one (that's of course if there is no other smart way for you to access this information) e.g. 5.1 DD + 2.0 Commentary = 5.1.

Thanks I think it should be possible to do it and it is the smartest way. Definitely better than select always the first one or post always 2.0.

Maybe it would be better after all to add my audio channels number patch? I only need this one property; the rest aspects are already available in MP2. I know that with the transcoding service I will have many other AV attributes, but it creates a dependency to it since it is not available in MP2 core. If in the future the transcoding service gets into the core, then getting all AV aspects can be switched to the transcoding service.

I think that will make sense in the future, because MP2Ext depends on this, the DLNA Server and also MP2Web will depend on this one. But there is no decision made yet

Finally managed to switch it to my API-Key. Here is a working version which uses the 0Auth authentication method:

Below a screenshot with the login screen. Its not pretty and if someone (@ge2301 ) feels to design it better, he is welcome!
There are still few things which need to be fixed/improved but basic syncing and scrobbling should be working, at least it does for me

Next, I would like to start with the GUI screens (trending movies, calendar..). How do I put a tile/button on the home screen?

Hi @morpheus_xx,

I saw that you're preparing a RC build of the new '16 release. Do you plan to add the current trakt version to it? I would be nice to see some user comments if/how the current version is working for others. Unless you have another idea how we can publish this plugin? I can't provide just the trakt.dll because one part of trakt is in the OnlineLibraries library included.
