Managed to get two of the four tuners locked and unresponsive after they had recordings/timeshifting on them, I could see from the MP GUI two streams still showing active when there shouldn't be, setuptv did open at this point and I managed a screen shot.

MP and tvserver became unresponsive at this point requiring a hard reboot; neither could I stop tvservice or kill tvservice.

Streams on card 14 and 15 do not exist.

    Logs attached if this helps.

Some further stress testing to seek out problems and if you look at the subchannel numbering in this

    Subchannels wrong on tuner 15..JPG
On tuner 15 there is a mix of '11' and '10'; they should just be '11'.

There is also a failed stream on tuner 15 shown as idle, this tends to lead to the tuner being locked and crahing the service.

Even though I have 36 streams active the GUI only shows 33

    Hi,

tvserver hangs an other time. Here are two screenshoots.

    1. Excaption: Got I by trying to open tvsetup
    2. OS Errormessage that tvserver service could't be stopped by net stop

I had to kill tvserver again and could restart it with net start

Have a look to the timespamp. Meanwhile the server crahed and rebooted and I do not know why. TVsetup was open...

    Hi guys.

I have just uploaded a new version of MPFileWriter.ax on page 1 which I believe is causing issues with deadlocks. Can you try MPFileWriter.ax(v1) with TSWriter.ax(v6)

Can you test these new files and report back in this thread.

    Thanks.

    It maybe yes.

Give the files from the first page a go. If it works then let me know.

    Thanks.

Just tried V6 and did a stresstest. Noticed that average msec went up from around 800ms to 1200ms :(

Passed the stress loading of tuners; recordings plus timeshift epg without issues, then a couple of hours of standard use timeshifting and random channel changes stop/start buffers etc and didn't get any problems (random BSOD) .
    Using MPFileWriter.ax(v1) with TSWriter.ax(v6)

active recordings1.JPG setuptv new stress test.JPG

The PC returned from sleep this morning so tvservice is still responsive and will continue testing .

    Looks good so far.
