Well I think that depends on the skin but not sure for the location. No there isnt a plugin for them.

I use Vista and mine are located at
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\XFactor\Media\TVSeries\Logos\Channel Logos

you have to name the png files to match the channel names in tvserver. If they are not named correctly they will not appear.

you also have to place them in the correct sub-folder of the %appdata% team-mediaportal (from memory its thumbs/tv/logos)

I have XP svcpck3, downloaded the Blue3 skin, which i think is the default.
put logos in MediaPortal\Thumbs\TV\Logos , still not showing.
Newest stable version of MP. They are the same name as the channel. ie; pbs.png.

I was curious about this myself so I gave it a shot. Worked perfectly the first time. Attached is a screenshot. Notice the correct path which is "ProgramData" NOT "Program Files". Also notice the spelling of the JPG logo is exactly the same as it appears in the TV Guide.

Hi. I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database". Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers, backgrounds etc all lumped together in...

Thanks very much, Jasmeet. Worked. But note that this setting has moved, apparently, to: Settings > TV (not Plugins)

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...
