TV: No Video, only sound (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have windows 8.1 and using MP2a4 with NativeTV. The problem is, that I have only sound while watching TV, no video. Don't know if this is a bug or do I need video codec?

Normally you should not install additional codecs.
Please post your logs (server + client) and system specs.
you will find your logs under: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal

You need the most current DirectX 9 runtime installed, which you can download here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en...ang=en&id=8109 (June 2010).
Starting with MediaPortal Alpha 4 you need .NET Framework 4.5.1 Full (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40779)

Hi, both net and dx9 are installed. Where can I find log? There are only folders
My system is:
Win 8.1 x64 always up to date
AMD Phenom II x3 720 with 8GB RAM
Sapphire 7750 1GB with newest WHQL Drivers
TV Card: DVBSky T980C

you will find your logs under: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Server\Log
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MP2-Client\Log

I suppose this is also the case under Windows 8.1 .

Hi, i have nothing there, sorry. Only one .dll called log4net.dll

Are you sure you're looking in the right place?
c:\ProgramData\... not c:\Program Files\...
This is a hidden folder...

have you tried to disable the EPG?
Do you have video in TV Setup -> preview?

I disabled EPG, but it also doesnt work. I also installed my old DVB-C Card and with this one the same problems. But I cant find somewhere an option to preview?!

Originally it was a Win7 system, i updated to 8 and then to 8.1 TV Setup says something about "Restricted mode active"?
