    Hi,
Tested it here & upgrade worked just fine, but did any of you use "preload" cards?

    Regards
    Roy

    Hi Ron,

for me install was a clean install, so no upgrade. setting preload is therefore not possible because there are no TV cards to make th
    is setting!

just installing 1.0 (and will not use preload) and do the upgrade.

    regards,
    Ruud.

    Okay,

upgrade not working for me, synopsys:
    1. full uninstall 1.0.1
    2. install 1.0
    3. install 1.0.1
    4. 'upgrade option is grayed out, can only choose 'clean install'
    5. full uninstall
    6. cleaned registy from MediaPortal entries,
    7. install 1.0
    8. install 1.0.1 -> same message

what setting / file does the installer check to see if I have svn installed?

    UPDATE:
    9. choose clean install (at point 8)
    10. TV server shows both my cards????

    regards,
    Ruud.

    Hi,
Seems like install miss to install something when using "Update", not reproducable here so really no clue what this could be(also others have tested internal here, but still works for us) :|

    Hi Roy,

installing 1.0 and then installing 1.0.1 over it as descibed in (update) previous message did the trick.
Have just installed MediaPortal on my client and saw that in SVN reported bugs are still in there, will make a separate bug thread for these.

b.t.w. when installing 1.0.1. after a full uninstall of 1.0 I also got the message that upgrade was not possible due to SVN being present (all directories and databases where deleted): full uninstall is not as 'full' as to be expected ;)

    Thanks for your help sofar

    Hi Roy,

My install is also clean, because I was using RC3 and had to completely remove it before installing 1.0.1.

I guess the only solution now is to install 1.0 then upgrade to 1.0.1 as Rudd stated.

Edit: Where can I download v1.0 from? I looked everywhere!

What worked for me was to uninstall current MP. Install v1.0, then update to v1.0.1, now all works well. Something doesnt seem well with the install process though, lots of people reporting this problem.

    Hi Roy,

may sound strange, but this is good news!
Perhaps MisterD can 'join' forces (if they not hae=ve done that already) to tackle the TV plugin error as reported Here

O shame on me for cross linking to my own post....

    regards,
    Ruud

    Hi,
& now fixed, huge thx to MisterD for fixing it!

For those that will test/need the fix/patch it's added as a zip file so:

    1. Stop TV-Service / SetupTV,

    2. extract those to dll's into "MediaPortal TV Server" root folder, will overwrite 2 old ones,

    3. Delete the Configuration_tuner.xml's in "%ProgramData%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\AnalogCard" for vista users & "Documents and Settings\All Users\Programdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\AnalogCard" for XP users,

    4. Start TV-Service again & SetupTV, it should now work.

    Regards
    Roy
