hello this feature was never included, because for security stuff, to have unwanted people who can acces to TVserver.
one branch exist on my own repo, but the official branch was removed from official MP github repo.

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).
