NOD32 != Norton AntiVirus..... Not related to Symantec at all.

Frodo linked to a blog about the issue happening with Norton as well.
I'm running Norton and seem to be having similar issues. The entire computer freezes and needs a reset after about five minutes of use of the tv server (ie recording or watching). I've configured NAV to ignore the MP folders so we'll see if that helps...

The point also raised in one of the blogs is that this doesn't happen on most PC's which is why they had trouble detecting it.

OK, I still get the same error even with those files excluded from the real time virus scanning, so I guess it's time I start up a new thread and post my details. It seems like my issue is different from the one in this thread.

I uninstalled NOD32 completely and so far the TV-server is up...

Too bad if this is caused by NOD32.. I think it is the best AV out there...

I hope there will be a workaround ASAP.
Well, I'm running NOD32 too, and have NO problems, at least not the problems you are having ;)

Tried yesterday evening, my TV Server has no problem with NOD32 running.

I'll try and reinstall NOD32 and see if the problem reappears..
