thanks for the feedback. I will include in the next version minutes for email checking. I am planning to set the minimum checking interval to 5 minutes.

I have released version 0.0.0.3 which contains the following changes

* minutes added for next email check, minimum checking interval is 5 minutes
* changed keyword ADDSCHEDULE to ADDPROGRAM
* partial names for matching program names when using PARTIALPROGRAM=<partial name>
* schedule allpartial matching program names using ALLPARTIALPROGRAMS=<partial name>
* help=epg returns email with filtered epg data (max number is 1000)
* reply .response files for run command (see the manual)
* prevent standby during receiving emails
* new keyword Channelgroup=<groupname> for filtering channels
* list available drive space for help=schedules
* remove seconds in all date time formats: format is now yyyy-mm-dd_hh:mm
* max number of emails to be processed: 100
* max wait time for run scripts 5 minutes

This should include all items from urev and spiek81. Thanks for your feedback.

Mails funktionieren jetzt (Beitrag geändert). Allerdings wird nichts in den Scheduler eingetragen. Ich erhalte aber folgende Mail: [...] Reply to: +OK message follows Delivered-To: [...]

Woran liegt das? Die Titel stimmen. Als Befehl sende ich

AddSchedule=gewünschterTitel


Verbesserungsvorschlag: Viele nutzen tv-movies clickfinder als EPG-Quelle. Vielleicht lässt sich der eMail-Scheduler so einrichten, dass er eMails die direkt von der tvmovie.de-Homepage geschickt werden akzeptiert ("Film empfehlen", dann nur noch eMail-Adresse eintragen und ab damit. Das wär gut!

Den TV Movie Clickfinder habe ich mit der email getestet. Als email wird lediglich ein Link auf den ausgesuchten Schedule versendet. damit kann ich leider nichts programmieren.

das mit dem neuen Schlüsselwort habe ich wohl übersehen. Entschuldige. Ich werde es gleich morgen testen.

Meinen Verbesserungsvorschlag hast du wohl falsch verstanden. Ich meinte nicht die Programmierung aus dem Clickfinder heraus, sondern von der TV-Movie-Homepage aus. Ist deshalb so interessant, weil man - wenn man vom Internet aus programmiert - die selben EPG-Informationen hat. Meine Idee sah so aus:
Man geht auf die tvMovie-Homepage, sucht sich den gewünschten Film raus und klickt auf "Weiterempfehlen".
Dann erscheint folgendes Fenster : (siehe Bild)
Dann drag and drop den markierten Text (siehe Bild2) in das eMail-Fenster. Adresse eingeben und ab dafür. Ich denke einfacher geht es nicht mehr. Das Textformat in der Mail sieht dann so aus:

14.06.2009 | 20:15 Uhr
3SAT Abenteuer Amazonien

Du musst halt den Betreff und den Text entsprechend auslesen lassen.
Der Absender: "tvmovie-tipp@tvmovie.de"
Der Betreff lautet (ich hab den Namen "PVR" eingegeben): "TV Movie Tipp von PVR"
Der Text lautet: (s.o)

Ich hoffe ich konnte dir helfen, dein PlugIn zu perfektionieren. ;-)

Version 1.0.3.0 Released

I have released Version 1.0.3.0 which is now supporting MediaPortal 1.1 alpha (1.0.3).
There were no functional enhancements, only the installer has been improved with the changes I made in my BackupSettings plugin. You do not have to worry about what version is the right one, as the installer will automatically choose the correct plugin.

I pretty much enjoy that plugin it's well designed, it has good configuration dialogue.

I'm using it since yesterday just in case I forget to record something and I'm in holiday. Of course there are web interface to do the same but last time I tried I had some problem to have it running smoothly so this is a good solution for now.

What I would like thou is that you change again the minimum checking time

I would like to be able to "chat" with the plug-in through email and not have to wait 5 minutes between each check.

Use case : I want to record something but I don't know the exact name of the program
Send email :
HELP=EPG
Get an answer within 5 minutes
Send the schedule with correct program name
The server schedule the recording, nice.

But I'd like to do the same within 1 minute or so

So would it be possible to change the minimum checking time to something low like 10 seconds ? My pop server is local (i'm having a mail server running on the same machine) so there is no problem with my provider complaining about me hammering their server with request or what so ever

Hi Chli, the way I wrote the plugin I can go down to 1 minute, but below will become difficult. I will update the 1 minute in my next version.
